Definitely think the game would’ve been a lot closer and down to the wire if the umpires were consistent. But credit to the aussies for playing with such skill and precision. This diamonds team was so clean and sharp with their ball really amazing to come back and watch.
If you don’t hear what the refs say you just raise ur hand and they should repeat themselves but if they don’t see you put your hand up or they ignore you, tell the associations supervisors and then they should take care of it. Happens to me all the time🙄😂

Watching this game in 2023. Wow. If the same efforts put in in the third and final quarter were put in the first and second quarters by newzealand, maybe something could have happened. Australian shooter is wonderful but defended very closely such that she does not get a chance to get closer to the pole, you can have few rebounds. Tutaia/Fulau 's distance shoot was magnificent. What i do find frustrating on new zealands part though is that the GK keep on guarding the GS from behind her when clearky the GS has a sharper and agressive movement. She should try to move in front of the GS cause she would be of no use when she is behind the GS during the attacking of australia's team

Hello! I'm still fairly young and it's my dream to become a proffesional netball player for Scotland. My coaches say they truly believe in me if I put my mind to it and I play mainly Goal Defense but also Centre and Goal Attack. I was wondering if anyone has anyone has any tips to help me?
Interestingly, one of the umpires, Gary Burgess, recently commented on *that* penalty (1:15:19) with CBass on twitter. Iirc he said that there was a lot of confusion about where the penalty had to be set, he did blow his whistle again after Medhurst passed off, and it was extremely loud in there, so he gave CBass the benefit off the doubt that she hadn't heard him properly.
At my school we have netball club, we have mini 10 minute matches, my team always wins (We are trained in two teams, then at the end of the club we have a match, I'm Goal Attack, which in my honest opinion is the best possision! Sorry my spelling is bad, stupid auto correct! Lol XD) my tram win at around 10-9 something like that. Both teams have equal good players, and my aunty is getting into the Aussie's, she's so excited!
Goal Attack is amazing!!!! I've always played as GA ever since our BSME games where my coach thought I would go good with GA. And so yeah, 100% agree, Goal Attack also in my opinion, is the best position to play EVER!
The umpiring was really bad I found sooo many girls stepping and using contact ( outside rules) on both teams, I mean what is this a game of basket ball? It wasn't unless it was right under their noses that the umpire called some one out.even then sometimes they wouldn't call it out and nobody would stop them either. My school umpire is stricter than that and most of the time their a student. But overall good game.

Baseball didn't evolve from Rounders but Netball did evolve from Women's Basketball. The old rules were more similar to Net Ball than the present Women's game.
Its so annoying when the coatch of the other team says stepping when your not and when the other team steppes suddently the coatch is looking a way any body else got this problem
