    I have MS, Narcolepsy, and a seizure disorder. My body will be going to Boston University. I hope my brain and don't will help in research. The remainder of my body is theirs for any other medical school needs. They've assured me that they'll take care of my remains after they've served their purpose. Aiding medical science is important to me. Any money I may have will go to my family instead of wasting it on the burial process.

      I have Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and MS. I've noticed that usually autoimmune things stack, if you have one, you may have more. My sister had Crohn's disease, Lupus, and MS. I hadn't thought of donating my body, not sure my husband could go through with it.

    • @mandibailey9104
      @mandibailey9104 Год назад +1

      @charlayned I'm sorry you. You're right, I wish you weren't. Many people with neurological and autoimmune diseases tend to have more than one. I can't convince my body that it's a bad idea to collect autoimmune disorders. Unfortunately, I do have Chron's and ulcerative colitis. None of what either of us are dealing with is a fun time. Personally, if I know what disorder is causing which symptom I can deal with it. I get anxious when I can't decipher which (if known) disorder is causing a new symptom. If I stress about it, all the other problems attack. I try and try to tell them it's not a game worth trying to win. There's absolutely nothing wrong with whatever you and your husband decide to do with your body. It very well may be an option to donate to a chosen med school. I just chose Boston because it's a great school, and their specialty is neurological disorders. Should you decide to please read the fine print. Some charge your family transportation fees and cremation fees. Best wishes to you.

    In New London Conneticut is an old cemetary that I visited while I lived there in '73-'74. Most of the tombstones were fascinating. There were a couple above ground graves encased in cement with the top giving the info about the person. One had the top askew from the base enough to see it was hollow inside but not able to see what was in there. Freaked me out.

They might as well go ahead and give me my PhD bc they do now is hear your symptoms and then type it in the web and voila, this is what it is. They don’t know what’s going on, they’re just playing around with different ideas and if you end up dying, oh well, “we’ve done all we can do”. 🙄

      There’s nothing unusual about Princess Diana’s coffin. Members of the English royal family are always buried in lead lined coffins for preservation purposes. The fact that she’s on an island in her brother’s stately home, Althorp is because he wanted privacy for her sons to visit. He wanted her to have peace.

    Regarding the intro: I do not foresee myself in a "grave" after death. During my life I have consumed living organisms.
    I must keep that circle flowing. I intend on being "left where I fall" so to speak. My body... left out for other living organisms to feast upon.
    Traditionally buried, the energy within your body is wasted. Cremated, the energy is consumed, leaving nothing for life to utilize. The best I can do is to complete the circle of life by giving other life energy it needs or can use.
    Only stipulation... they first MUST ensure I am actually dead. If I "come to" while being eaten, I will be a bit pissy about it. lol

    In a city where I used to live is an old cemetery that was created in the early 19th Century; many of the graves are from the 1850s or before and one grave’s occupant was born in 1791. Many of these graves are elaborately sculpted monuments, created by friends and family who thought to immortalize their loved ones in stone. Today, save for genealogy types and historians, no one knows their names.
    A reason I don’t want even so much as a marker.

    My cousin who belonged to the biker gang, the Hell's angles. When he died, he requested that he be put upside down with his pants pulled down. He had a tattoo on each but cheek that read "Kiss" on one and, "My" on the other one. he wanted this to be shown so God could read it as "Kiss my ass" During his funeral he was facing up but, before they put him in the ground, he was flipped over. This was not an easy task as the man weighed over 400lbs!

    💞 I've told my kids that I want to be cremated. I would also want them to make a necklaces or any jewelry with my remains for each of them. The thought of paying so much for a coffin doesn't make sense to me. I guess if you have that kind of money you can do anything you want to. I also wanted to say I love watching your videos. Keep doing what your doing.💞

    I really want a female vampire in an embrace with a male angel. Since I write a series with those two characters, marking my grave with them would be awesome. When I mentioned it to my husband, he said he would get a stone next to me that was a pointing finger at mine with the words "I'm hers." on it. Yeah, we're weird. 30 years of weird this year (married on Halloween, so yeah....)

    All cemeteries are looked over by a guardian of the other worldly sort.
    I hope you give mention to Nicholas Cage and his pyramid in a New Orleans cemetery as his preemptive burial site.
    I hope that you truly come up with some unique and morbid stuff for October.

    I actually tried to have my body donated to Body Worlds, but you have to live in Europe?? Just such a cool thing, I wanted to help with materials. Other than that, I really don't care, I'll be dead. I really hope I'll have something better to do than worry about the vessel that I left behind or what's there to say "hey the thing that used to be that Sarah is here".

    Kind of surprised that you didn't put the Taj Mahal on the list. That has to be the most Elaborate Tomb in the modern world.
    If your looking for material for a part 2, look up the grave of the Dodge Brother's in Detroit. Their elaborate tomb can be found in Woodlawn Cemetary.

    Is someone that commits suicide a "victim" or are their loved ones the true victims?

    • @BrendaPenepent
      @BrendaPenepent Год назад

      Technically I think the person who does the act is the perpetrator and the family and friends who have to live with the aftermath are the victims. Sadly, there is no way to explain the situation that brought the person to that end. 😢
