That's an awesome discovery, I'd be lying to say I wasn't jealous
That huge healthy ice cap tho.
266 K. Brrr...
beautiful place!!!!!!!!!!
George Shonia It's my favourite place in the galaxy! Some great views, especially when the gas giant lines up with the Earth like planet!
do you know? there are more fascinating places.. once good time.. I was one system, don't remember name of that system and there was 2 planets that orbiting around each other fast like 1 or 2 minute per rotation! that was most incredible events that i see in whole world... one of that planets was Eart-like..
I think you're referring to Mitterand Hollow, an incredible system! Check this thread on the Frontier forums for suggestions of where to visit: forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/266046-2-2-Your-Input-Needed-Passenger-Tourist-Destinations
One good place to visit, and is close to the bubble, is Betelguese. A red giant star that dominates the sky when driving around. Check this video out I made of it: ruclips.net/video/m-9Bghep48c/видео.html
That is a remarkable find! I'm going to bookmark that one - it would definitely make a spectacular setting for an episode of my Turjan's Travels series :)
It's one of those special locations in Elite that gets the ol' brain working : how long has that ice age lasted? How long will it continue? That moon is orbiting very close, and over the poles too by the look of it...will it end up crashing into the world? Life on that planet...how does it feel for them to be orbiting a gas giant with their main star much futher away? And what name do they give the bright constellation on the Elephant's Trunk Nebula there?
Many tales to be told in that system!
Turjan Starstone I suppose they have a lot of eclipses
Great find!
Looks nice!
Oh nice :o
