Overall, would you say Soneva Jani is better than Gili Lankanfushi? We have enough to go to only 1 of them, so which one is better overall with water, food, and experience? Planning a trip, the infinity pool room and beaches/palms at Gili look amazing but the remoteness and water look stunning at Jani. Please help!
It is indeed a very difficult decision to make. Both resorts have big pros and cons so it quite depends on wether you want to be close to Male (easy access) or more remote (longer journey). Also, size of the island is really different so if you want something not too big, definitely go for Gili.
Really Beautiful, but at USD 3000 per night just with breakfast? No, thanks...just not my reality, but if it's yours, then have fun! I am going to visit the Maldives in April 2025, the resort is veryyyy cool and what I am paying per night with All Inclusive fits my wallet way better than this. But who knows, maybe if I win the lottery one day 😂
Hello, it's not a dumb question at all :) There are fish around, but not as many as when you're on a resort with a house reef right next to the villas. In any case, you don't have to be "mindful" while swimming, the fish will definitely leave you alone and swim away :)
