I suggest you to watch some tutorial on how to use the weapon you prefer. Monster Hunter is a very complex game, and some mechanics can be hard to understand all by yourself. If you learn how to use the bow you could easly kill chatacabra in under 4 minutes. You can even ceck and in-game guide from the menu that explain every attack and some of the best combo for each weapon. But i still recomand to watch some video tutorial. 😉
