    Thank you for your video. I have a question: If the patient is HBsAg (+) anti-HBV (-) HBeAg (-) does that mean the patient is recently infected to HEP B and patient is not immune to HEP B from previous vaccination?

    Hepatitis B E antibody is also positive and the hepatitis B E antigen is negative what does all mean I’m told I have chronic hep b but I don’t understand that number format just trying how to break down as far these numbers mean in value if you can help me out I would appreciate it thanks

    Does surface antibody will always show reactive if patient is vaccinated?

    • @RealWorldNP
      @RealWorldNP  3 года назад

      It should, there are some cases of people who are vaccinated but are "nonresponders," meaning they got the full 3 shot series but do not have antibodies. In that case typically the series is repeated, but if they don't respond again then they just have to be mindful of the fact that they're not protected and let future providers know that they've done the series twice already

    If you want to check for hepatitis B immunity from vaccine, would you order hepatitis B surface antibody? TIA

    • @RealWorldNP
      @RealWorldNP  4 года назад +1

      Yerp, for immunity, the Hep B surface antibody would be positive, whether it was from a vaccine or a previously cleared infection!
      If it was from a previous infection, they would also have a Hep B core antibody that would be positive (for life). Typically most people screen with the Hep B surface antibody test.

      Hey what does a reactive hep B
      qual, mean if all the other hepatitis panel is normal.

    What if I ask for second opinion and the result of hbsag is non reactive.

    • @RealWorldNP
      @RealWorldNP  Год назад

      Rose, a non reactive hbsag means there is no active hep B infection. When interpreting results you want to have hbsag, hbsAb, and hbcAb to appropriately interpret.

      Few years ago I was admitted to the hospital with abdominal pains and fever, And was diagnosed of Hepatitis B. I was discharged after 2 weeks,Was also on Hepsera for few months. But the mild pains still persist on the right side of my abdomen. After sometime, I learnt about a successful Hepatitis B and fatty liver treatment from Dr,Ayes. I was on the treatment for over 1 months and tested negative to the virus after I completed the treatment. Its almost unbelievable how effective the herbs was alleviating the virus. I completed the treatment few months ago and still negative! Dr,Ayes also works on related diseases like (BAD BREATH) (HSV.)(FIBROID) feel free to reach him out via(drayesherbalmedicine@gmail.com) or WhatsApp him+2349028032485.

    Hi there ,..i would like get some advice from you please .
    I have done some blood tests from sexual health more than 10 years ago , and they told me : I have been exposed to hepatitis B long time ago ,.but I’m immune , and I’m not contagious ,..that is very good news , but i have been suffering for 10 years from abdominal pain on and of , and also my bilirubin it’s slightly higher between 30 to 60 , my eyes are slightly yellow
    I also spoke with my doctor regarding this ,..and he did the DNA hepatitis b test ,..and I got the same answer
    My question is ,...is there anything the doctors are missing when they are ordering those tests,..because from what i hear from you , hepatitis B look very complicated to detect
    Beyond my abdominal pain ,.my wife recently it’s having abdominal pains too ,..this is making me very worried ,..because i have 2 kids and i don’t know what is happening !
    Could you please help me ,..is there any test left for me to do for hepatitis B ,...or shell i just settle with what doctor said ?
    Thank you

      Thank you for replying back ,..i only was asking if i need any other test like a suggestion ,..to rule out hepatitis B
      The reason why i do ask this , is because i don’t want to go through liver biopsy or ERCP
      Your knowledge in hepatitis B interpretation is better than some gastric doctor which have a lot of things to think about
      I only need from you to show me the right direction to get to the bottom of this ,..because it’s 10 years now and they give me different diagnosis like : jaundice, Gilbert, Dyskinesia , they even removed my gallbladder because Hida scan was saying 34% function,
      Thank you

      I would like to ask you 2 questions if can please?
      First question :
      As we know hepatitis D ,..manifest from an infection of hepatitis B
      My question is : is it possible for someone to get hepatitis D ,..if she or he have been exposed before to hepatitis B , but is immune from the hepatitis B ???
      My second question is : someone who is exposed from hepatitis B and is immune,...dose it needs a vaccination for hepatitis B
      Thank you
