Baru nonton tahun 2020, memorable banget apalagi ending ost-nya, berasa kehilangan temen terbaik dan menghilang selama 15 tahun, terngiang-ngiang sama ost endingnya
My favourite J-drama is obviously Love Lasts Forever !!! Since it was broadcasted in HK in March, I am crazily in love with it. Even it's been 8 months after it finished, I still watch it online almost twice a month!!! Really wanted to buy the DVD but can't find it in HK :(
If 2010 is old enough to qualify as classic, I highly recommend Mother, the breakout of the then superb child actress, Mana Ashida. In 2009, there is the first season of Midnight Diner (Shinya Shokudo). Those are the only ones I can think of from 2010 or earlier that I’ve seen that are pretty good. I’ve seen most of the ones featured also.
I've watched almost all these jdramas since my younger days.....n i can say i love them all...maybe it's not everyone thing but japanese has unique charm which is different from other cultures....bof, hanakimi, mischievous kiss, nodame n gokusen are among the best classis ever! but the 90s n early 2000s japanese are the GOLD.....
"Great Teacher Onizuka" (1998). Great show, very entertaining. Lead actor does a great job, good music, some hilarious scenes and some heartbreaking ones. It's up there with Gokusen, in my opinion.
I just finished Nodame cantabile and honestly it was one of the best dramas I've seen. I had just finished Love last forever and that one was recommended to me. Really enjoyed it.
I waited for a Kimutaku classic here, but no mention of even one. Long Vacation, Beautiful Life, Love Generation, and HERO are great classics he starred in.

This is a great list. Nobuta wo Produce is one of my favorites of all time. What a way to tug at your heartstrings with some beautiful moments of friendship & the pain of growing up. For other jdramas, I also highly recommend Utahime and Love Shuffle
My two favorite has to be Nobuta wo Produce and 1 liter of tears. Damn... 1 litre of tears DEMOLISHED me, it's probably the show that made me cry the most in my entire life.

Switch Girl ❤ Liar Game ( Interesting drama series) 1 litre of tears ( you need to prepare a box of tissue) Rich Man, Poor Woman ( Oguri Shun!!! ❤) Kimi wa Petto ( MatsuJun from Arashii once again 😍 )
I can’t believe Nodame Cantabile aka the best Japanese drama of all time is not here!!!!!! Also has anyone else watched Tumbling before? Such a hidden gem IMO😭💫
Gokusen, Hana Kimi, Nobuta wo Produce, Switch Girl, Rich Man Poor Woman 🥰🥰 My first Jdrama is Gokusen and still my favorite and the reason why I'm a teacher now.
The Jdramas you shared are so extremely old. I prefer Mr Brain, Bon Appetit (Gochisosan), Dinner, Legal High series, Doctor X, Legal V, Wise & Foolish, CRISIS Special Security Squad, BG Body Guard 1 & 2, Border and Border Redemption.
The real classic for me are Tokyo Love Story, News no Onna, and Beautiful Life... Watched them when I was still little but they left great impression. But yea these ones are very memorable for me sunce I watched them during high school-Uni days. Nobuta especially rekindled my love for Jdrama
Saw them all of course :) 1 litre of tears in my all time favorite Jdrama. Still after all those years. I watched Nobuta wo Produce first and that 1 litre of tears.

5 ji Kara 9 ji Made the live action was not bad.. too bad they left out the smut parts from the manga. hehehe
Wow... didn't know all the famous kdramas are the remake of the jdramas! Nice list!👌
1 litre of tears is the bomb can’t never forget that drama, that drama shaped my life
Nobutaaaaaa!!! Must have watched that like 3 times! GTO and lots of Takuya Kimura’s dramas are must watch!!
Baru nonton tahun 2020, memorable banget apalagi ending ost-nya, berasa kehilangan temen terbaik dan menghilang selama 15 tahun, terngiang-ngiang sama ost endingnya
❤❤
Hanakami will always be my favorite toma ikuta is my cursh forever
1 liter of tear is my fav Jdrama.
I cried soo much after watching this drama... But I love it soo much...
My Boss My Hero. My personal favourite.
My favourite J-drama is obviously Love Lasts Forever !!! Since it was broadcasted in HK in March, I am crazily in love with it. Even it's been 8 months after it finished, I still watch it online almost twice a month!!! Really wanted to buy the DVD but can't find it in HK :(
I love this drama up until the spoilt brat appear. After that just become too cliche.
Hana kimi, hana yori dango, nobuta wo produce, nodame cantabile, kisarazu cats eye.. i really miss watching crazy japanese dramas
I’ve seen most of the ones featured also.
oh no, you make me remembering that 2nd last episode scene. That was the most emotional scene I have ever watch acted by a child actress. :((
Thank you for the list. Besides Hana Yori Dango I also loved 1 litre of tears. The last J-drama that I also liked was “In time with you”.
My favorites are Hana Yori Dango, The Hours of My Life, Rich Man Poor Woman, Jin, Death Note, The Emperor’s Cook and Kimi Wa Petto
Is Rich man poor woman a Japanese series ?
Rakhi Verma Yes, its is the original one.
@@jessalam8824 thnx will watch it...
Omg, these are literally shows from Jdorama's golden era. Love it! Wanna rewatch these again!
Love lasts forever !!! I give 11/10 ✨✨✨
agree with others, there should be some series with KimuTaku on the list, esp if you call them classics. Also Nodame Cantabile
I would put on this list "Galileo", "Dragon Zakura" (the first j-drama I watched) and "Trick" (a personal favorite).
Others that not on the list that you should definitely watch

OMG! Papa to musume no nanokakan! My boss my hero! So nostalgic!
Also Bambino! I had forgotten about it!

@@anantchakravorty2522 try My Boss, My Hero, Densha Otoko and akihabara@deep :)
@@renebuenafe5980 ok thanku
I second this list. I'd add Nagareboshi and Nodame in the middle of that list as well.
yeps, there's really something about jdramas that keeps me wanting for more
Yamapi's buzzer beat ❤️❤️, takuya kimura's good luck
I’ve seen them all (more than once) except for Liar Game. Adding to my to-do list now lol. Thanks for this. And yes... every one of these is a classic that anyone interested in J-Dramas should check out. Totally recommended!! Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango were the first J-Dramas (actually... Asian dramas in general) I ever watched. I watched them at the same time and switched between them. So nostalgic!
matsujun and oguri shun supremacy. u bet i couldnt choose b/w them in hyd
from the theme song to the story of 1 litre of tears it definitely made me cry more than I ever cry on any movie so definitely bring lots of tissues with you when you watch it
gokusen is toatlly dope! whoever never watched it guys it is awesome (no regrets)
Damn... 1 litre of tears DEMOLISHED me, it's probably the show that made me cry the most in my entire life.
lmaoo why have I seen most of these,, that is, except for 1 litre of tears because this drama's eventual sadness scares me so much still lmao
i've watched 1 litre of tears years ago and it still haunts me *-* but it changed my perspective of life a lot. it's really worth watching
I almost never watch Japanese dramas (more of a kdrama kinda gal) but todome no kiss is one of my favorite dramas of all time, I think it's so underrated
I just realized, I am a Jdrama addict because I already watched all the drama series in the list. 🤭❤👍
Gokusen (3 series) plus movie
Mischievous Kiss (had watched the Taiwanese Version too)
Hanazakari Kimitachi e (You will love all the characters from the main to the supporting)
Hana yori dango ( love the actors here)
Nobuta wo Produce ( Nobuta Power!!)
Switch Girl ❤
Liar Game ( Interesting drama series)
1 litre of tears ( you need to prepare a box of tissue)
Rich Man, Poor Woman ( Oguri Shun!!! ❤)
Kimi wa Petto ( MatsuJun from Arashii once again 😍 )
Long Vacation, Doctor X, Love Shuffle, Orange Days I thought would make the cut.
Long vacation and orange days are in my top 5 for sure! If you love Takuya Kimura in long vacation you may enjoy Pride as well :)
Omg yesss!!! Mischievous kiss was the first Asian drama I saw!
I still love it:)
I literally shed 1 liter of tears because of One liter of tears 😭
I can’t believe Nodame Cantabile aka the best Japanese drama of all time is not here!!!!!! Also has anyone else watched Tumbling before? Such a hidden gem IMO😭💫
My recommendations
Nodame cantabile (all time favorite, hilarious)
Nigehaji
Hotaru no hikari
GTO (the old one)
Gokusen, Hana Kimi, Nobuta wo Produce, Switch Girl, Rich Man Poor Woman 🥰🥰
My first Jdrama is Gokusen and still my favorite and the reason why I'm a teacher now.
i've swatched almost all of these lol.
also...
so much MJ. including soft jun, not just atsu-jun. woa.
Gosh i like how they look so natural in the dramas we can even see their skins imperfections and pores !!
The Jdramas you shared are so extremely old. I prefer Mr Brain, Bon Appetit (Gochisosan), Dinner, Legal High series, Doctor X, Legal V, Wise & Foolish, CRISIS Special Security Squad, BG Body Guard 1 & 2, Border
and Border Redemption.
Mischievous Kiss- Love In Tokyo 1 & 2 just hits different. Really glad that this was my first ever jdrama🔥
All mentioned series are great, but... Mr Brain - is my fav j-dorama of all times!
Kimutaku is such an icon. He deserves his own highlight video.
My ultimate jdorama is RICH MAN POOR GIRL and THE KISS THAT KILLS 🥰
Orange Days! The quintessential drama about the best years of your life.
It is my favorite, I can't describe what I felt the first time I watched it, I even downloaded the episodes and the OST, I LOVED it. 🍊💕
The real classic for me are Tokyo Love Story, News no Onna, and Beautiful Life... Watched them when I was still little but they left great impression. But yea these ones are very memorable for me sunce I watched them during high school-Uni days. Nobuta especially rekindled my love for Jdrama
No love for Takuya Kimura, Takashi Sorimachi or Yutaka Takenouchi dorama?
GTO, Long Vacation, or even Nagareboshi? Those are fine classic..
Gokusen was my first jdrama series. I really loved this drama and manga in highschool can't believe I forgot about it.
すばらしい
Shun Oguri, the most handsome man alive..
Handsome and cool
Saw them all of course :) 1 litre of tears in my all time favorite Jdrama. Still after all those years. I watched Nobuta wo Produce first and that 1 litre of tears.
I really I admit this, JAPAN was the one and only the ORIGINAL from those Anime and Manga Based one...
My Dramalist has one of my very most trustable and lovable channel, because they search the facts and the real ones...than other like--- Nevermind.... others are putting the wrong edges about the facts
One liter of tears.
I cried.
Manly tears
Oguri and MJ for the win! ;)
