Where did the song's relationship with Wolfstar come from?

mostly from the lyric "you drew stars around my scars" since remus literally is covered in scars because of his lycanthropy and sirius is associated with a star, his namesake. the line refers to someone loving you even while seeing your flaws, which is a beloved dynamic that goes both ways in wolfstar. so literally, and dynamic-wise, it seems like a perfect fit. and the entire song fits in a similar way, seeming as if it's from remus' perspective after halloween '81.
