    I appreciate your stories. I was friends with a CIA Agent and his wife many years ago. He had been in Vietnam and some of his friends had been at the same party.

    The fact that the CIA allowed a 10-year backlog on polygraphs and didn't make eliminating the backlog an administrative and financing priority, suggests to me that they didn't want to uncover any moles in the first place.

    Excellent video! Everything about this was great. What truly grabbed my attention was the mans accent in the beginning. Did anyone else notice a lovely Australian accent with a hint of a Louisiana southern accent? Especially with words like "CIA" and "NINEteen eighty FIve"

    Dude, your videos are great. I have watched many of them and enjoyed every one. But I HAVE to figure out where that accent is from.
    To this American ear, it sounds almost British...except for the way your pronounce your short "i"s and "y"s. Those, you pronounce like an American from Alabama. It's neat...but it is pouncing all over my curiosity. If you read your comments, tell us where your accent originates.

      I do read all the comments on my videos, and so many people have said the same thing as you - that I sound British mixed with a bit of southern US 😂 I am in fact originate from South Africa, but am now living in the UK.

    Even though your videos are interesting, I find myself having a headache watching them. Spies usually end with a painful death or a long prison term. I do not like the energy the profession emits.

    Just had your channel recommended to me. I found the first 2 stories I listened to fascinating. I recognized bits and pieces of those stories as in the 80's and 90's I was in my 20's to 30's. Thank you for such quality work, very easy to listen to and don't need to actually watch the video if you are busy doing your daily chores.

    ❤❤It is a life of deceit and misery with no family ties.I would tell young people never join CIA or KGB (FSB) as only way out is death or promotion.Dezernsky imprisoned 23 years in exile to run re education camps 5.-6 years & his life was shortened by prison.Any other job is better!!

    Oleg Gordievsky's is unique. He spied not for money l. But because he thought freedom was worth defending. And horror was worth averting. A great Russian and probably a better person than any of us.
