When you start remixing a song, do you have a clear idea of what you need, or do you just mess around intil it works?
Yea I'm really curious too. I've been trying to create some of my own remixes but 1 havent had time and 2 have no idea what to do.
I literally feel it out, move with intent but without a conscious goal. It will form naturally if you keep at it.

May I recommend SharaX's Heartache remix, as it's one of my favorite Undertale remixes all-time
(not saying Nick's is bad, I like it, but I prefer her's)
May I suggest that you should not be eating the song and you should see a doctor if you have eaten any other pieces of music, poetry, or any kind of literature in the past 2-4 weeks.
