fun fact time!! seunghoon actually was wearing nude underwear for *that* scene at first, but he decided to commit fully to the vulnerability and rawness of the mv that he took it all off.. also, in that scene where someone was stepping on mino's head, he told them to just go and step on him even as hard as they could. the artistry behind this is chef's kiss !! edit: seunghoon also shaved his hair for that, saying that their lives as celebrities are seen as glamorous and he decided to take everything off (clothes and a nice hairstyle) to show a more genuine image
Mino’s rap in this song gives me life. It’s so so different and weird. The stylistic choices he makes are so odd but so satisfying I can hardly describe it. Especially when he’s like _don’t tou-i-ch me_ idk. I just love it. Also. This is probably one of Winner’s darker mv’s. When it came out I remember people being really surprised after all the bright comebacks they’d had. Fun fact: Winner’s Seungyoon wrote this song. Just like most of Winner’s songs actually. He also wrote “wayo” which you reacted to recently i think. He’s the leader of Winner, which is kinda special since he’s also the maknae of the group. I don’t think I’ve seen that anywhere else in kpop. Winner is so damn special in so many ways though. Mino is an absolute fashion ICON and has a solid solo career too. Seungyoon has an incredibly rich full voice and is an incredibly talented songwriter. Jinu has a beautiful voice too and also has released solo music. Hoony is such a warm caring person and a great rapper and choreographer too. And Taehyun (although he’s not part of the group anymore I still want to mention him) is actually in a band called South Club and they make some seriously chill k-indie music. Also. This was my most listened to song of 2019 _hehe_

Yes! Winner is my BGM in just anything I do. When I clean, I cook, I study, I work or just simply want to listen to good music. I can literally listen to all their albums continously. Well I do that most of the time. Winner is my ultimate group since I discovered Seung Yoon on 2017 while moving on from 2ne1 disbandment. Just for their music, i fell in love with them. Now that I know their personalities, I love them more. I miss my boys.

WINNER are truly genuine artists and they really are so involved in every comeback in all aspects. Concept, music video concept, album design, and etc. They truly show parts of themselves in hoping that their music and lyrics can help their fans or casual listeners feel comfort or motivated. Yes.. in recent years WINNER were known for their fun and upbeat BOPS, but I think people forget that WINNER has this other side of them..introspective and sensitive. Even their upbeat songs have meanings and when you dig into their title tracks like “AH YEAH” you find double meanings within the song itself. Their discography as well is so versatile and unique as well too. Yoon, Mino, and Hoony delivers in their self-composed songs and sometimes you get surprised by them too. You wouldn’t think Yoon can compose a very r&b-ish/sensual type of song.. you wouldn’t think that Mino can compose an emotional ballad. You wouldn’t think Hoony can compose a Latin pop kind of song, but HE DID. WINNER is never afraid to experiment with different music genres and they love to grow and challenge themselves every comeback or solo music.
And the best part of that is those three never under “someone being”. They never stop to learn from different spectrum and their comfort zone but they never leaves their own specific style of composing. Even though they try to expand their genres, we still can expect that kind of style from each of them. Like how Seungyoon did a pretty good job made a sexy hot dance song but his main music which is his identity still there. How Mino & Seungyoon compose a ballad songs but still on their own way, their style, and based on their personal references of music never left their identity. Those three obviously remarkable and never step on each other area in a bad ways. I mean they’re totally grownup and keeps collecting the information then make it as theirs. Totally contender attitudes! Edit: Even Jinwoo always be Kim Jinwoo as always he is to be. He’s improving his skills to more relax on singing and how makes the songs sounds delicate but Jinwoo’s style never changed. He’s always chilling and smiling. He has his own style. Surprisingly he’s a legit contender to anticipated. Good manner and good attitudes on/off stages as a performer.

I know it sounds like its not made for dancing but if you watch the video, you will say that this is one of the hardest choreo that they made ever since debut 😂 Fun fact: Winner, after building up, intentionally dropped the beat and other instruments during the chorus to relay the feeling of soso to the audience. This shows how WINNER carefully produces their music. They are always involved in producing the beats, lyrics, flow, and even conceptualizing the music video and sequence of songs in the album. Actually just check out their whole discography coz even their B-sides like Hello, Air, Don’t flirt are so good as well. They are super diverse in their music style and they produce their OWN songs. Just a little fun fact, idk if you noticed but Hoony (the guy with the buzz cut who did the nude scene) actually has the Groups Logo, with a circle orbit around it tattooed on his upper back. You can see it in the nude shots. He got it few years back shortly after they debuted and said it represents them s a group but also the Fandom. I remember he posted a picture of it on his IG right when he got it with the caption "For my circle" (Winners fandom is called Inner Circle)

Everyone is looking forward to it because its going to be his first FULL SOLO ALBUM in 11 years! Crazy right? He even released videos talking about his journey as a singer on Winner's channel. He is such an amazing vocalist but due to his lack of solo releases I don't think a lot of people get to appreciate just how good he is. @@LintonWilson Oh by the way! Not sure if you're aware but KANG SEUNGYOON, Winner's leader and main vocalist, is going to release an album on March 29! Everyone is looking forward to it because its going to be his first FULL SOLO ALBUM in 11 years! Crazy right? He even released videos talking about his journey as a singer on Winner's channel.
He is such an amazing vocalist but due to his lack of solo releases I don't think a lot of people get to appreciate just how good he is. You might want to check out his performances in King of Masked Singer, its a South Korean singing competition, as well as Haebaragi's With Love. Enjoy!
