That's not a bad thought! It would work, but I think you wouldn't get any lines (even at 1 guest per maze). Using a ride like this, it's easier to control how long the waits are.
Seeing all these mods make me so excited to play this game again. I still play it on my ipad and computer, but knowing these mods exist... so excited. ;-;
You definitely could do that. Unfortunately, since the peeps still have to get on the ride, I don't think there's a good way to avoid them phasing into the wall. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong!
I just went into OpenRCT2 to test this very idea, and it does work. They do phase into the wall of course, but if you offset the exits so that the exit for a station is placed on the entrance of the previous station, then any guest that enters a queue line will also exit from the same queue line after a few seconds. Not perfect, but it does mean that guests get in line, walk up, and leave from the same window they walked up to.
I wonder how doable this is in Theme Parkitect, even if you don't have access to a tile inspector. I gotta give it a try there. It'd also be interesting to see metal detectors/bag checking done the same way too where guests are funneled and stopped at each checkpoint.
I'm so happy RCT2 has a community that's so alive. Love your content
Thank you so much!
Same man
I was so convinced in the beginning of this video that it was just three different straight Hedge Mazes with invisible/covered entrances!

@@fidwell Ah that's right!
love these RCT vids, they're really cool to watch. Subbed.
Thanks, glad you are enjoying them!
I'm not paying that much for a ticket to Theme Park 1.

Wow thats so cool. Its like the guests are buy tickets lol. Very cleaver trick.
Great vid. You're definitely going places, man!
Thanks!
now this is epic
Why not have the entrance and exit be on the same tile so that it doesn’t look like the guest suddenly disappeared into the “ticket booth”?

this is high quality stuff dude
Thanks!
I find it hilarious that this is pretty much an immersion style addon and yet the guests just phase through the wall. nice look though
You will be assimilated. There is no escape.
Wonderful

Awesome, thx!
Nice idea and workaround to the bland boring vanilla park entrance, but is there a way to prevent them from "climbing" through the windows? :)
Thanks! Sadly no, I haven't found a way to fix that issue, so I usually just ignore it haha
I know this is an old video, but how are the guests queuing in a more realistic way? Not in a perfectly straight line as they normally would.
Honestly I have no idea how that happened. It kinda looks like a bug in the game, or a side effect of doing hacky things with the ride entrances.
that's cool
I don't want the person queuing to go into the ATM, I want them to go back outside the queue. is this possible?
Sure; I imagine it should still work if you put the entrance and exit on the same tile.
Can put the exit building on the entrance building spot? That way people are going in and out from same path spot.
yes, you can!
0:14 how did you get that ride vehicle for the drop ride?
It looks like the lay-down roller coaster (that's not my park so I'm not 100% sure)
@@fidwell it is a laydown rollercoaster i think
How come the people are lining up in the queue side to side?
I think it's just a visual effect. Peeps always walk a bit off-center. It does seem a bit exaggerated in this video compared to usual
very nice i subbed too :)
Can you overlay the exits and entrances?
Yes, that should work just fine!
I am the 1337th view. Nice
Build this without cheats
no u
@@fidwell do it
What a great trick thanks!
