This was amazing. And I know you haven’t seen the original but the plot line is really reminiscent to when they killed a different main character (she didn’t have a sister in the original) and Liz and Kyle strongly suspected aliens were to blame. In the end they were right and the whole time she fought Max about it. So, I guess I like Liz despite everyone else hating her because she was my fave in the original lol. But great video! I’m dying waiting for their first kiss!
Actually, she does have a sister she's never seen but she is mentioned. She's quite a few years older than Liz. She also has the same sister in the book series as well.
Nice video! The original series has the same chemistry between the main pairing, but it's a little less serious and a little more humorous considering a) the B-movie TV special effects of the late 90s and b) in the first iteration they're all teenagers, and the show plays off of that kind of angst, but also kind of winks at it, acknowledging the silliness. The original also features Maria DeLuca as more of a main character, but without giving away spoilers that's as much as I can say. If you happen to want to watch it it's on Hulu.
i hope that the alien part is not just subplot and that they actually explore his powers and there is action, and not just heavily focused on their love story
