The 754 dose HART connections threw two different ports depending on what one you select. There is a plug in the side of the 754 meter that is for HART connection that connects direct to the transmitter and you can also set the meter HART channel to the MA jacks on the bottom of the meter. This saves you from have to used two separate cables. You can measure MA and talk over HART protocol at the same time over the same cables in the MA jack.
how it is possible that you can turn your hart function on Dpc without connecting the serial cable on it. As I can see you only plug the pressure module cable.
