    I'm so jealous of your dinghy! I almost got a dinghy, Albin Vega is almost a dinghy, she will be my home for the rest of my life I hope, I'm cutting the cord with society, and now I will go see stuff and fish as many different kind of fishes I can.
    I will be building a sailing tender to please my dinghy craving! 😁

Looking to do a week or so around the Keppels before Xmas if things go according to plan. Thanks those such as yourself, Kate Louise and Trim I think we are getting some of the best dinghy cruising on RUclips.

    Bruce you guys are between nuts n amazing ! You had me pure hanging almost with this awesome sailing ⛵️ out in open water. Those cays a vividly gorgeous with the crystal clear water near each islet/cat n intense blue in deep waters. Fast turtles 🐢 (except the couple mating), sharks 🦈 swimming by n a couple playing n breeching whales.
    Loved 🥰 that rush of adrenaline surfing ashore on the incoming swells as well. Just one truely amazing venture in open dinghies … great wx window with blue daytime skies n vivid sunsets as well. Bet the starry nights were grand n spectacular.. not sure 🤔 I’d try in a near open dinghy but maybe in a Soveign or Precision 18’ with a nice cabin. To be 40 or 50 again n free to try that challenge n adventure. Thankz Mate for a great share ..
    Think 🤔 you could get Paul out there ?

    • @brucedyson-smith459
      @brucedyson-smith459  Год назад +1

      Hi Greg, I have an Epirb and the required offshore safety equipment you need for any boat going more than 2nm offshore.For navigation I use a handheld GPS and paper charts which you could say makes me old school. I also carry a handheld VHF for communication.John has a chart plotter running on 12v in his boat. I have no 12v system in mine, just small battery packs and small solar panel for charging.

      @brucedyson-smith459  Год назад +1

    • @brucedyson-smith459

    • @stan440us
      @stan440us Год назад

      Looks like a good set up. My set up with the lever is a bit awkward. Two handed operation. One hand to push the lever to remove pressure on the keeper and the other hand to push the keeper. Then pull the lever to move the centerboard into position.
