Hi Ranjeeta. Flowers r so pretty. I recently started one stroke painting but somehow any paint which I use is not as smooth as yours. Result is that there is difficulty in brush movement. I have used good quality paints such as folkart and daler rowney but I find them not too smooth even though folkart is recommended for one stroke.. Want to know how u keep your paint so smooth and flexible. Do u use any medium? Secondly, do u use any special sheet or paper for one stroke painting.. i use ordinary paper for practice..third issue, is the brush. I use ordinary non branded chinese brushes. Do u think that this can also be the reason for non smooth brush movement? Sorry for asking so many questions but would be really thankful to u for answering them. Best;
Hi.you can try with any brand acrylics. I tried with folkart Nd daler rowny,it works well for me. What I follow while painting is,load my brush 2to 3 times and moist (water)my brush Whenever required. I always use water as the medium. Second : you can try on 80gsm and above paper for practice. Chart paper works well.
Misty I had the same issue but then I noticed I wasn't loading and blending enough, maybe mix your paints with a palet knife before you use it . I'm tried to learn this years ago and failed at it, trying again, but now I know how important it is to load and blend your paint several times each time you need more paint, makes a big difference, I might learn this time
Love your videos, beautiful work! Do you prefer gouache or “thick” tube acrylic paint for the one stroke method? How do you keep the paints on your palette from drying out? Do you ever use a flow medium? 🌷🌷🌷
all flowers are pretty, and after practicing, they are now coming exactly the same as it should be...one question - can you do a tutorial on how you clean your plate :) Acrylic colors dry very fast, and it becomes difficult to keep the palette clean as yours :)
Great lesson. I purchased a one stroke kit from D.D. Scared to touch it. Not sure I will be and good at it. I am one of those people that have to have it perfect I guess.
Is it better to use a plate (like yours) to mix colors well? Because when you used your brush, there’s like light purple and dark purple on half the brush
Hi Renjitha it's me again. You are such a good teacher. I really want to learn from you and am looking through your videos. Please can I ask you how keep your paints (which I assume are acrylics?) wet on the pallet. Please can NV you let me know. Thanks
You are certainly helping me a lot Renjitha and for which I am truly grateful. Please can I clear another doubt. When you paint white over a dark petal, how do you stop the dark petal colour from lifting off and mixing in with the colour of the petal you are painting on top? I notice that when you do it, the light colour goes on clean and appears very separate.. It's like the previous colour has dried completely but I know has not because your videos are in real time. Please could you tell me what I am doing wrong. Mine is lifting off so much that you can't see the distinction between the petal in front from the petal behind it. I wish I could meet and learn from you. I would pay you for it but I am struggling even with your videos. It's me. I'm terrible at this. You must be tired of hearing from me so often. Thanks
@@birjeeshussain6106 my videos are real time. I didn't wait for the petals to dry while I taking the video .what I do is, I real load each time with fresh paint. Try in that way. I hope it will help you achieving that.

How wonderful .... do you smaller brushes when painting smaller flowers?
It's, good option. Sometimes I use. But we can use the same large brush to make smaller strokes by applying lighter pressure to the brush.
