My theory is that as BBW has tried to clean up their products from bad ingredients and they have sacrificed some longevity and quality of the products. I heard there used to be formaldehyde in the products but it was taken out because of health concerns. I definitely think the cleaner the brand is getting the less lasting power the fragrances have.
Hi Mary and everyone.....I got the Black Cherry Merlot lotion last week during the big sale, and it's pretty strong.....I'm going to try layering it with Winter Cherry Blossom that came out end of last year. Also, I'm glad you mentioned one of my faves, Bonfire Bash; definitely going to try that , too!
Black cheery merlot is one of the sexiest BBW mists ever. It's sweet, fizzy, kinda sharp but dries down smooth, kinda sandlewoody, and absolutely delicious. It's one of my top 10 for sure.
There is a ffm sale this weekend. Got Black Cherry Merlot and also Leaves and Fall in Bloom lotions just delivered from the $5.95 sale. Went in store used 3 rewards for the matching body wash so come this weekend using my 20% coupon on the mist and the new Chasing Fireflies collection.
We did the same got the body creams on sale. Used rewards on wash. Waiting on the mist sale to complete the sets 😂. I only got this one and ivory cashmere though

I’ve never had this one and I was hoping it would be long lasting. That sucks. I really love VS Cherry Elixir and was hoping this would be similar. Thanks for the honest review though. I might be better off getting the Finery cherry mist if this only lasts an hour.

OMG! I have four bottles of Choco Musk! It layers so well with so many things, especially if it has vanilla in it. I get the most compliments when I wear that fragrance, I can’t believe how affordable it is. It’s amazing with the newest YSL Black Opium flanker Le Parfum. I cannot wear that combination without getting stopped and asked what I’m wearing by at least one or two people. If you’re a vanilla lover you would love this. I love Dossier too!
This one i was glad to see back grabbed it with the 5.50 body cream sale . Waiting for this weekend sale to get the mist...black cherry merlot is the only cherry one i dont get the cough syrup effect

It will be going as a Christmas present since I got a bunch of the other fall ones too. So glad I only buy during the sales. A lot of them aren’t worth more than $5.
@@marymakers I figure I’ll use the lotion as a in shower lotion, shaving lotion or nighttime lotion to use it up. It’s just disappointing. If you want to just sniff it out of the bottle it’s nice! Lol

I heard it smells like the Dark cherry candle by Yankee candle and that's my favourite cherry EVER! So I blind ordered it ( since B&bw is bankrupt in a big part of Europe)
