Because in this decade, talentless people gain more likes. How else do you explain that debile people on Instagram and TikTok with zero talent gain millions of likes and views, while videos like this one here don't?
@@TheAustinGuy nah, not even close. He is very accomplished and very technically proficient... but that's about it, hes just a lick encyclopedia and doesn't not convey any authentic emotion when he plays.
That's the problem JB can play but has no soul and in a band setting I find him boring. It also doesn't help that he's so full of himself. But Simo has the spark and energy of Clapton when he was with Cream back in the 60s.
You are my favorite RUclips guitarist!! Your playing, tone and feel are so amazing!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Do you ever get to Michigan to do a show?
That rig... pulsonic g12m's and something else.. ceramic but not sure. vintage tubes in that vintage plexi. i would boost the top end personally but it is definitely the burst/marshall purist rig.
...I like JD Simo ... talented , nice , humble...no reason to dislike that dude .
they really sound like cream here. amazing
impressive!
He let me play that guitar after a show last summer, he rocks!
J D does not own that particular guitar.
How the f does this clip only have148 likes? Absolutely Epic JD!!!

Master player 🥰
The new album Mind Control is brilliant! Guy is a star.
JD plays with much more soul and style then Bonamassa , IMHO
Bonanassa is still the 🐐

Who is Bonamassa?
@@TheAustinGuy I like Joe, but he's nowhere near the greatest. Simo smokes him and always has.
Whole band just sounds perfect here. Great late 60's tone all around. And wonderful playing.
JD. This guy is so incredible. Would love to see and LP with BUK~
Amazing!!!! Right up my street this...🤘🏼
Outstanding! Love that bass tone!
It almost looks like a kustom tuck n roll but I can’t tell for sure
Wow.
This young brother made me a guitar player 15 years after the last time touching the neck,so impressive, haunting, soulful and so on
Fantastic !
And I thought the videos at Robert's with a letter jacket and a screaming white Tele was just about the coolest thing I ever saw......I was wrong
That dude can play.
Of course I know he can play very well, but this is one of his best solo for sure!
Just getting after it!!
JD easily could’ve been on stage with guys like Duane Allman or Mike Bloomfield.

If James Clerk Maxwell could have lived to see this, his appreciation of magnetic inductance would be substantially enhanced.
So far- JD Simo and Marcus King are the 2 best current generation real deal gut tar slingers….yeah.
Anybody still listen to this on repeat when they have a bad day and wanna feel worse by chunking their guitar in the trash? 😅
WOW
Nailed the duane allman sound!
Nice Guitar
Love your Guitar Peep~
MY MAN,........😶.........this dude's the shit now...........here he comes,step aside,run like hell.
damn, a '60 before they changed paints
About half of the 60s are pre change
@@ryans9029 I thought they got rid of analine dye in the year 1960, all of the sunbursts stayed red after that
@@Jakeman90210 The earliest 60's were essentially 59's

This guy deserves the title of “Slowhand Junior” more than John Mayer.
EDIT: Maybe “God Junior” is more suitable.
Senior Slowhand would fit better in my opinion...
That pre-covid jd ooh boy
360th like ...... any more
woof
to be a sound check is a very long solo. and pretty much self indulgent. even bass and drums can make some solos also
very Willy G, ish circa 1970-74
Agreed. Yes
Rufus Huff!
