Hi Michael, As you know I’m a fan of your playing but I want to tell you about something beautiful that happened tonight with someone who has never heard you before. Sadly, my 89 year old mum is coming to the very end of her life and we are caring for her at home. She is at peace and has no fear or worries about the journey she is shortly to take. This evening she was feeling a bit better and as she was settling down to sleep I put some of your music on in the background to soothe her. She seemed to enjoy Somewhere over the Rainbow and Hallelujah and then when this one came on she said, ‘This is very nice isn’t it? He plays so gently and it’s lovely’. It may not be the biggest thing in the world but your playing gave my mum some real enjoyment and happiness tonight and I want to thank you for that. She’s sleeping peacefully now and I’m sure she will listen to you again tomorrow evening. God bless you.
I am honored to have seen you go from a talented 8th grader playing his keyboard to this. I admire you so much for sticking to your gut and pursuing a music career. That takes guts, and it is paying off!
The only thing i didn't include in the sheet music was the 16th notes played in my left hand from 3:00 - 3:13 (only 8th nots in the sheet music version) Everything else pretty exact. Hope that helps!
