Welcome back to a new video and a new country everyone here we are in Trinidad & Tobago. I am sorry for the lack of energy i was feeling under the weather but i still have to deliver. I have been dreaming about coming to this beach for a long time and I’ve finally made it. Despite the weather i had an awesome time at the beach and the water was really warm. I finished the beach trip with the traditional Bake & Shark here at Abbi’s. It was really good this is a must when you visit T&T. During the night i walked around the main road here in St James just to give everyone a glimpse of what the vibes were like. The amount of food in Trinidad is overwhelming due to all the influences of other cultures. My first day despite not feeling well was good and I’m excited to explore this country. Is Trinidad safe would you visit this country?

OMG! Just read some of the comments, why the hostility. Every country has its own flavours and if you don't enjoy it that's your opinion, can't say one is better than the other. Reading these comments just shows how and why we can't live in harmony with each other. I was taught, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything. Peace and Love 💛💛💛
I have no idea lol i read them and was like smh
The jamaicans always start it.

The USA did build the North Coast Road in the 40's, but it was built for easier access to the beach for recreational purposes by the locals, since they had occupied and taken over Macqoeripe Bay which was located in the Chaguaramas area along with Wallerfied(used as an airfield for their war planes) in the East of the island.
Macqueripe was the Bay that was used by the US to anchor their war boats and submarines during WW2...
Would be cool to see some old military stuff here
Yes, the USA military built the road to Maracas during World war.
Every youtuber shows Maracas during the sunny time. You are showing its beauty in the rain. ❤
Ariapita Avenue is the nightlife street in Woodbrook.

It is true(looked it up). The zinger invented in Trinidad in 1984. Til. That’s pretty nuts. Chicken sandwiches during Covid were so huge that was number one ordered DoorDash item from restaurants (I remember reading this years ago, don’t quote me)and today one of everyone’s favorites. I’m sure you have seen the videos of people fighting at Popeyes and other places for them.

Who said Trinidad didn't want to take in Haitians??? And the Indians who came here are called Indentured . You have some reading to do..

Yes Pojo. 💪🏽
Bake and shark is not Trinidad's national dish. Crab and Callaloo is. The more well known bake and shark booths are Uncle Sam's, Richard's and Patsy's. U should have put some tamarind sauce and chadon beni sauce. Always look for the booths with a long line. Yes the pepper sauce is made with scotch bonnet peppers
I didn’t know about the sauces until i tried them
Yea bro agree to see the mix of the Indian culture and people mixed as you walked was interesting. I always knew the Indian influence was big there but as you walked it really showed in the people looks. (I mean no offense to anyone with this observation and comment 😅)
Man i want to find someone to take me in… so much culture here
@@PoJoTheBackPackeru will. Like Jamaica organically (and through ur vids as u post) I bet locals will reach out.
@@PoJoTheBackPackeralso want to point out. Why would we take Haitians which is 1500 km away, when we are only seven miles from Venezuela and we can literally see Venezuela from Trinidad. Little T&T must be the refugee capital? Haiti is Jamaica's geographical neighbor.
@@HRI_HK1 get educated you doing too much, stop making excuses like Trinidad dont have a plane, Trinidad dont want anything to do with them, one of mt trini friend said they too black & its not even the good looking Hatien coming in its the ugly ones i just stay quiet & said nothing
@@marcusmarcus3190 Clearly, like most Jamaicans you know nothing about the eastern caribbean, or when many Grenadians and Vincy's moved to Trinidad even in my own family, even Our greatest calypsonian mighty sparrow is a born Grenadian. I’m entitled to my opinion and it was shared by everyone in my family and step family. I never said Trinis make calaloo from powder. I said the calaloo is lost in some soupy white mixture and you can’t get to taste the amazing flavor of the calaloo. When I am throwing away june plum, seasoned or not, (don’t remember what y’all call it) it speaks to my experience of how food is seasoned in Trinidad because june plum is my favorite fruit. There’s things I liked about Trinidad but the food definitely wasn’t one of them.
