I know this is an older post. But I’m so glad I found you. I absolutely love your personality. You have several comments that I totally understood. Thank you for taking your time to do these.
I'm over 60 live in Australia and decided to take up a new hobby. Thank you for your videos learning a lot from you. Thanks so much. You are a treasure to watch. ❤❤❤
If you turn the magazine down, wrong side up and use tape, you can gently pull a layer of paper off before turning it into washi tape. It works with magazine pages or any type of paper
This is so cool!!!! I just got some double sided take so I’m totally making some! I’ll be perfect for times when you want to do something but not feeling overly creative!!!!
Very nice ideas… love your bright choices of colour patterns. I am from New Brunswick.. just returned from Toronto and my first visit to the Dollar tree store with my carry on almost filled with lovely craft items from the dollar tree. Also found a couple of nice finds at Dollarama store. i was wondering which double sided tape to use for this project…I do order from Temu as well. What was the company name if you know it. You could also stamp on a wide open white area or put a little word or two in that spot and even add a heart or some design that goes along with the theme that you are working on. They all look great Nicole. This idea would also look great to do tape for themes that are hard to find like construction vehicles for kids or various sports. I have 6 grandsons so boys and things boys do are on my mind and I also like to junk journal for myself. I also love the ink around the edges…
wow!!! Brilliant! I'm so excited to try this - I was gifted a huge bag full of double sided tape in assorted sizes. Guess what this gal is gonna be doing this weekend! Thanks Nicole!!
Is this fun or what!! I could see how I could play and play with paper and tape. So glad you tried all things on tape, especially fabric. Nicole, I think I’m going to be in love with homemade Washi Tape. I am already thinking about collage on tape! LOL
This was such fun!!! Thanks, Nicole, for the great ideas. That scotch tape hack will come in handy. Your washi tape is adorable and the sky really is the limit! ❤🎉💐
I can't believe this. I was just getting ready to look up how to make my own washi tape. great minds think a like, right? but dang, I just did a temu order yesterday. dang it! I might just have to do a small order again. haha. If you haven't ordered their stamps yet, you might want to give one or two a try. They are very good and cheap. I've bought a lot of them and love them. Have a great day!
Ooh!... the fabric.❤ Trying that. I always use DS tape when I make greeting cards, so I have a few different widths to play with (...twss😘😂). A great idea. A masterboard😮 😊 TFS ❤ xx
Wow....First, the washi tape you just created is Rock Star!!! Second, yea...you're considered a "Sensitive" if you are in tune with your surroundings...I have a bit of that myself and can feel things before they happen and if someone I know is going through something....glad your box wasn't stolen..thank your intuitiveness for that!!! xo
I had to laugh when you DIYd the bright abstract napkin cuz it was one I'd sent you! The mermaid tail, too!😊 I love this idea, especially with the foil! I hate buying foil washi cuz it's so expensive. Back to the Dollah Twee I go!😂 And I still have tons of napkins, too, so this will be fun! Great video!
Wow, about your box. I'm a little freaked out now. I just mailed a big box to you today and you should get it next Wednesday. Just so you know! Yikes!😮
@@jonihotchkiss1356 A Masterboard is typically a large piece of paper that you glue background papers onto and then when you’re done, you cut it up to use in various projects. Like journal cards, Tags, Artist Trading Cards, Postcards, Pockets/Bellybands/Tuck spots for journals, you name it. They are very fun and relaxing to make. I have an entire playlist of my masterboard videos if you’d like to see more.

Fra-gee-lee (fragile), hahaha! I love that movie! I don’t hear that much anymore!

Oh. We should totally do a homemade washi tape SWAP!
Ironically I use heat n bond for fabric washi tape when you pull the backing off its repositionable then I use my regular glue stick to glue it down

A 45 mm rotary cutter works great for cutting paper. I have one for paper and fabric. it's just the right size. I bought an inexpensive one for paper

Absolutely!!! It's a great rainy day craft!
Neat idea. QUESTIONS: Where did you get your double stick tape from? What kind is yours?
I’m confused. I thought one of the great things about washi tape is that it’s removable? Is your 2-sided tape removable once you remove the backing?

Hey Nicole...I'm going to use these to make my clothes pin frig magnets. Thankyou ♥️
Fantastic idea!!! I love that!
You can use a rotary style paper trimmer to cut fabric straight. I've used mine to cut the excess fabric off of the edge of the tape. Easy peasy!
Thanks Nicole... this will be fun and affordable...
Great..I have been using my quilting rulers and rotary cutters for cutting paper..would work good with fabric washi tape. Thanks for sharing
Love this. The first time I watched this it happened to be Amazon prime day I got a deal on NINE rolls of that tape in a set for $6.00!!
wow!!! Brilliant! I'm so excited to try this - I was gifted a huge bag full of double sided tape in assorted sizes. Guess what this gal is gonna be doing this weekend! Thanks Nicole!!
I’m going to try thin ribbon
How fun is that?????? Can't wait to play with my double sided tape and papers to make some washi tape. Thanks, Nicole, I can see many fun hours ahead!

These look great, thanks for sharing!! One question: how do you store these wonderful washi tapes and keep them organized?
Thank you for this video, I've watched many making washi videos, BUT I really enjoyed this one. Thank u so much!

Fabric for homemade washi tape !! now I can combine my two interests: papercrafting/mixed media and quilting.

You are so full of great ideas! Love this and can’t wait to try and make my own washi tape! 💖💖💖💖
Yay! Thank you! I had so much fun making these!
Omg you could do a washi master roll! All of it on one roll and you could toss the roll in your bag and travel with it, rather than a bunch of pieces!
Great idea!!!❤️
@@relaxcutglue❤ I have so much fun watching your videos! I need to carve out a path to my craft table so I can get back at it. 😂😅
What about a roll of mixed tapes around a Woden spool. Like a snippet roll
Is the double sided tape repositional?
Not in my experience, unless you add some glue on top of it.
What is a masterboard?

What double sided tape do you buy? I didn’t see it on your list of supplies or Amazon list.
I’m wondering too!
