- This episode was an absolute chaos of emotions! One moment i'm crying, the next I'm cheering a woman on for finally having good s*x, and then the next second I'm in full of rage. My god do the writers put you through the wringer. I love it though. ;) My boy George has finally been saved thank god, and we can finally say good riddance to that son of a bitch doctor. Yay!!

Danbury got that "I could have been your step mother" energy without saying a thing. I stan.
I think Reynolds was put in an impossible situation and just did what he had to. His number one duty above all else is to do whatever the King says, and George told him not to interfere. If he did tell 1) who would believe him? 2) that is treason and he would get killed for it.
The only reason Brimsley is able to toe the line is because he and Charlotte are on the same side, he is speaking in her name. Reynolds doesn't have that luxury, torn between the two people he loves most (as said by the actor himself), confiding in Brimsley or following his King's orders.
I did love to see Brimsley tell off Charlotte's brother and I'm looking forward to see your reaction to the last episode!
One of my favorite parts of this episode was Charlotte's speech to William. William actually became King after George IV died, and like his father, he fell deeply in love with his wife. Unfortunately, they did not have any child that lived more than 3 months, which is why Edwards's daughter became Queen (the beloved Queen Victoria).
Reynolds did break in that one time: "I am the King's man! I will see the King!"
Unfortunately the treatment was what George wanted and Reynolds’ job was discretion. I understand wanting him to say something or step in, but it was literally his job to not do so

The dowager princess was from the Duchy of Saxe-Gotha Altenburg, married off to the KIng George II's son, Frederick, the Prince of Wales and heir to the throne, so that's probably why she didn't see her family again (yes, I know it was a joke). Her husband predeceased his father, so he was never king, by the way. That's why she is the dowager princess.
George literally ran into Charlotte's arms 😢😢.
George's condition and their love story is SO HEARTWRENCHING. and just knowing that their love story is what actually happened to them (ik that the show isn't exactly like what happened in real life, but the love story is pretty close to fact) it just makes it even more heartbreaking😭🥹🥺

Yeah didn’t like Reynolds actions, I get his role but if someone I cared about was going through that or was in danger , I would definitely say something or just give a hint to the Queen. I was so mad watching that and yeah Brimsley would never
