The polish used cavalry for making their troops faster , but don’t believe the myth of them charging tanks, they didn’t. Simple history did a video about polish cavalry btw
Gabin Chorein-Parisot Poland didn’t just use horses to move infantry faster. They had dedicated cavalry units but they didn’t charge tanks like propaganda says.

The Triebflügler is so darn cool design and actually existed. There was an actual test flight, but it was extreme dangerous to fly, especially starting and landing maneuvers.

Fun fact the poles actually had some victories in 1939. Orlik literally destroyed three tanks with a cannon of the TKS Tankette. After they were exiled the poles fought in may major battles and won most of them.

Plus another 550 tankettes that were mostly armed with machineguns (Some had 20 mm cannons that could wreck Panzer 1 and 2's however) That force was put against 2400 german tanks... and that's not even counting the air superiority the germans got almost from the get go. The only way polish armor wouldn't get dunked on is if all the tankettes suddenly transformed into KVs and the enteriety of german aviation suddenly decided to crash into the baltic sea.
The Japanese type 94 Tankette probably had the smallest caliber weapon of any ww2 tank (6.5mm MG). They were tiny tanks weighing less than three and a half tons.
17:40 you died to an anti-tank rifle because infantry in TTS is insanely powerful against armor. Grenades can 3 hit super heavy tanks, and sticky grenades can do even better. When the blue bar of a tank is gone, it can also be killed by small arms.
Most polish tanks weren't really tanks, but tankettes! It's basically just a smaller and easier tank to operate that requires less people and likely has a higher speed than normal tanks.
Sebastian Sylvan Hoschek Only 1/5 of their military was ever militarized. The units Germany tended to show in footage were their best units which made up a small portion of their entire military.
Most of the German division were actually infantry. Yes, they had a good bit of tanks and motorized/mechanized troops, but the vast majority was infantry. The problem with German industry is that they like to build A LOT of variants that offer little change to the vehicle’s combat capability, massively slowing down production.

Dale Todd, I’m pretty sure that was the Battle of Mokra. Polish cavalry with anti tank rifles win that battle. It is still incredible.
