There are so many NON SUNG vocal GEMS in this Dangerous era track! The single was released in 1992 and was written and produced by Michael Jackson & Teddy Riley - Видеоклипы
Many of you have pointed out that the instrumentals are from the REMIX... Thanks for the clarifying comments. I never know what I'm getting when I'm given these tracks and sometimes, without the context of the original mix, I'm not sure what is original and just buried in the mix or what is added or part of a remix session and not original. :) For example, I wouldn't have known about the bass sound in Billie Jean if it hadn't been for Anthony Marinelli's amazing video breaking it down. Those could have just as easily been added or tampered with and not been "original" with the session I got. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Thanks for enjoying these videos in spite of the spotty nature of some of these tracks!
You haven't listened the original once ?
@@Goodmorning1221- of course. Lots and lots of times for the past thirty years. I mean I don’t ever have the studio mixes provided to me in multitrack form. So I don’t have a reference for how any particular sound was actually mixed or included in context. Some of these sessions are incomplete. Some are demos. Some are remixes and some are some of both either or all and sometimes I can’t tell in the mess of all the tracks. Sometimes I can. With this one compared to the real studio mix, even going back now and comparing the files, I do hear some of the textures in the percussion from this session in the full mix. Leading me to think it has elements although incomplete, from the studio mix. Like the bass for example.
So much of the commentary is fascinated with arrhythmic background vocalizations, which in hindsight just seem like obnoxious edits by the remixers. 😸
The original mix is rather "stripped down," and you were still able to showcase that with just the percussive vocals provided here. 👍
I know every MJ track, So I was so confused at the beginning lol, It would be great to hear the original instrumental parts and arrangements for this track.
I find these MJ Multitracks absolutely fascinating also, Thank you so much with Lots of love ❤
Do you have a way i can contact you? I wanna send you the proper version of the thriller multitrack
I died When he got to the moaning parts and I'm just here wondering HOW COULD HE KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE WHILE LISTENING TO IT LMOOOOOO
haha... have to make about the MUSIC... not about the other implications (nervous laughter)
😂😂😂😂
You do exactly what Michael told us all to do. Take the greats and dissect their worth like an a scientist
Other artists may have 1 or 2 great songs but Michael Jackson has 100 great songs & his songs are always fresh to listen to. That's why he is not just king of pop but he is a King of Music
you're so right 🙂 He had the Best of Michael Jackson released in 1975 (age 17). I am not aware of any other artists to have the Best of at that age
Very few artists have hit after hit. The Goat of music 🙌🏽✨️💚💯🐐🔥🎶
Sabías palabras.
Un saludo desde España con cariño por admirar a mí querido MICHAEL JACKSON ❤
what mj and teddy created with the dangerous album is truly unrivaled in terms of a huge pop/r&b album release never seen anything like it too this day the music on that album is soo hard hitting and soo unique still sounds soo fresh gives ur speakers of any kind such a workout what a testament too true musical genius's the dangerous album will stand the test of a time as 1 of the greatest albums of all time!
I totally agree with you!! Only thing I dont understand, what did Teddy do with the track Breaking News? Did he lie on interviews regarding the vocals? Is it some kind of betrail or not? I find it so strange if you did work on a whole album together in 1990 and years later Teddy tells us MJ is singing on Breaking News!?
@@giogamer4825 i agree i love teddy his work with michael is my fav of all the producers mj worked with even quincy jones but he lost a few points with me when he was defending those cascio tracks saying it was def michael singing the vocals when he knew damn well that it wasnt mj but ive forgiven him for the most part and moved on from it lol! the dangerous album is timeless it will be the gold standard for me for all time!
@@lakers24922 I would love to have him in an interview open up about this, just telling the truth. Until that day in dont believe any words from him 😁 But, He and MJ did make in the past a really good album, Dangerous. Love that album!
Princess Stefanie was actually in awe of MJ in 96 awards. I honestly believe she was fascinated and crushed on him. Even now she does charity stuff in the name of MJ.
This a very creative song it's mostly made out of his mouth noises, right, brilliant
When I first heard the acapella version, it made me go crazy😂
Me too 😏
The music video is also a masterpiece!
The making of the video is also fab - they had a huge amount of fun doing that!
Every Michael Jackson's song is a masterpiece made with perfection ❤❤
It happens that I currently have Dangerous album on the loop. In the Closet has such a groove, it can never be denied that Michael is rich on everything. He explores timeless sounds, subjects, emotions. Michael's dancing in the short film is mesmerizing, I still keep coming back for more. Thank you Chris for another amazing Michael Jackson analysis 🌻
Those are the Stems for Club Mix ! 😉 Original Multis are not released yet. But I already know the official Acapella and Instrumental Tracks. This little yallin "Woooaaa" by the way is a sample of "Bumper Snippet" which is included on the Bernie Grundman Master Recordings. Michael recorded that as a gimmik beatbox track with Macauly Culkin.
@@hithere981"Bumper Snippet" and "Bumper Snippet Kid" where supposed to be two of the songs/snippets from the unreleased "Disc 2" of the "Dangerous Special Edition" in 2001.
Just great! I was waiting for it! Still waiting for the "Tabloid junkie" and "Who is it"
I’ve done who is it. Check the playlist :)
@@chrisliepeI hope Butterflies ...❤ Good Job
Really?? I've seen only the acapella @@chrisliepe
Ya, I've only done the accapella because that's all that's available. I don't have nor can I find the instrumental multitrack :( @@birfilm6176
I hope you will find it someday :)@@chrisliepe
This song is a work of art. You cannot compare it to other songs. It has its own unique and creative way. The vocals gives me chills. When Michael was beatboxing and singing, it felt very unexpected because you wouldn't normally hear beatboxing in any songs but it gave the song more vibes and upbeat tempo to it.That's why i think is the most incredible music that the KING OF POP has ever released from the dangerous album. 😌👍😁
I swear, we would never know about a half of the sound and vocals if not for this analysis
The dangerous album is probably my favorite MJ album, it’s range and depth is insane and songs like this prove it
This song is soooooooooooooooooooooo underrated.
6:22 🤣🤣🤣 i busted out laughing!! Michael is sooo unpredictable. Was that one of his geese on his ranch or something? "Eh, put it in the song! It works!"😂😂😂
Please get the isolated vocals/multi tracks for Give In To Me!! It will be epic. Emotional, soft verses followed by relentless back to back distortion singing
Yes finally more Dangerous stuff!
I have 18 years being a Moonwalker and I've always known this song as the rest of MJ's songs are amazing. Even the Acapella version amazed me every single time I listened to it, but this analyzed video, this decomposition makes me speechless 😮. There's so much behind, more than what I imagined. 😵💫 Shocks me out! 😲
Love these MJ vocal breakdowns! I learn so much every video 🔥
1:31 omg it sounds like a very Brazilian music, so many layers of shades.
I swear it felt like I was listening to a Donkey Kong soundtrack or smth. but this was 🔥tho
Wow! obviously knew there was a lot going on in this instrumental in particular , but not THIS much! 😭
A love when you talk about MJ😢
Tanks so much chris❤
This is gold. Thanks for breaking this down. The instrumentation in this song is way cool. It's insane how good this is. Then the vocals kick in. What a gem.
Dont listen to the acapella infront of your parents
Or anyone for that matter haha
😂
This one favorite Michael song ever. The 80’s were the Quincy Jones years. But I love the 90’s sound of Michael. I love the whole Dangerous album from him. I wish he would performed the whole song on tour. Please do more songs from the dangerous album.
Thx Chris, you are doing an amazing job analyzing these MJ tracks. I really love it. Keep ‘em coming 👌
Great insight and breakdown of this particular Michael Jackson vocal recording.
In the last decade or so, i find myself quietly beatboxing and exhaling on a whim quite often. I'm not proficient at doing it whatsoever, but it comes from Michael and that irresistible desire to just imitate what he does.
I’m so glad you get to do this. Every one is a gem.
Chris, if you ever have the opportunity and time to get the isolated tracks from Michael's "Whatever Happens" and show them to us, that would be a great lesson. You will not regret!
(Slash is in the music too)
It’s Carlos Santana in Whatever Happens
Basically MJ a wrote and composed the song but somehow others are on the credits. Its all here as usual with Michael, in the very original composition.
Cuz it was a callab thing
Michael was a master of groove and rhythm.
The world's best musician and dancer Michael Jackson. His style of dancing and singing music never seems childish. He always sang music in deep voice, so his songs are hit and catchy. Moreover he always wrote teachable music. He was the only person in the world who performed dance-music together in front of live audience. May her soul rest in peace 🇧🇩✅✅✅
Super excited about this one! I was JUST listening to In The Closet yesterday after the longest time and hoping that you had the multitracks to it! Once again, thanks for doing these videos, I just love them!
Big fan of yours Mr. Liepe! This helps me as a musician, in production and vocal performances
YEEEEEES been waiting for some new MJ Drops
As always, thank you very much for this analysis! Even though it's the Club Remix, it was very interesting to hear everything they made available to whoever remixed the song! Also, you hear a lot of details that don't stand out on the album version.
I can't wait to see your next analysis of any other MJ songs, and I hope it's "Keep The Faith", or "Can't Let Her Get Away".
Thanks again so much!!
Thank you again Chris for MJ songs analyze. Keep it the continue... Great work...

Greetings Chris:
Your enthusiasm, passion, and relatability is intoxicating.
Thank you for these fun, and phenomenal analysis reviews.
All the best ✨✨✨
Would love to hear a breakdown of 'Keep the Faith' from Dangerous... My favourite song by MJ today... But this changes on a daily basis😁
Just wow. 🔥
And thanks for a great analysis, as always.
This is one of his top 10 most underrated MJ songs.
Have you ever watched, sugar foot, its MJ drummer, does the drumming, I think his set up is something brilliant to watch, just a recommendation 👍
NOTI GANG!!! MJ IS MY FAV ARTIST OF ALL TIME! He is the reason i took dance class
Mj taugh the millions of his fans to dance and sing even dont know how to speak learn to speak english bcause they to sing his music.
Yes!! Have been waiting sir appreciate you
Heavenly episode and mesmerizing music. King of pop Michael Jackson. Love from Bangladesh.
Michael Jackson was in the making of that song. You got the multi tracks of "In the Closet (Club MIX)" Remixed by Rob Paustian and Tommy Musto.
That weird sound that you normally wouldn’t want on a record. It sounds like a duck or a goose. Since MJ had all kinds of animals on his range, it’s not unthinkable that he recorded the sound of one of his animals.
It's Michael. His playful nature. He could talk like Duffy Duck or a white southerner or a guy from the gheto and just play with his voice. There is on yt a rehearsal with him perhaps for Dangerous tour and he starts rapping with a total different funny voice.
This is indeginous sacred voices you cant comprehend or begin to understand
Love these videos. Always wonderful to hear more MJ and the insights are very intresting to hear! Always puts a smile on my face. (Still dreaming of when we get a You Rock My World breakdown!🙏)
Just too good song and good to see a breakdown of this song from you mr chris😊😊
And also scream has heavily inspired beat from this!
Right! Have you seen my video on scream?
Yeah I've seen that too which have the Janet Jackson's some song called knowledge extracts and even This song in the closet beat boxing or something like yeah I've seen that video a couple of months ago and still it is a mystery that the stop pressuring line came first or the stop (f bomb)ing me came first!😂😂😂
Immediate LIKE! Thank you, Chris for another great video’❤ Love them all😊
You are such a gem man, your content never fails to amaze me , thank you SO MUCH.
Dios que buena canción. Amo el álbum Dangerous 😭🍓
This is not the original but someone’s remix so not original music. Vocals yes though. Keep it in closet original is Michael’s vision. You do the best music reactions. Please if you can react to the recording session of “Childhood” video. MJ singing live in studio with live orchestra and it’s incredible. Seeing how good he was. Very rarely had vocal issues, nor needing vocal touch up. It’s like 23mins long. RUclips Michael Jackson childhood recording session
The Genius King of pop 👍👍👍
Think you so much Chris 👍👍👍
Yeaaaah, Chris' just rolling with the hits! Pumped for more Michael Magic
Thank you Chris!! ❤
There's a small band I think you'd be impressed by. Rishloo is it's name and Andrew Mailloux has one of the most unique voices I've ever heard. In some songs, he sounds like a cross between Maynard James Keenan and Freddy Mercury. Weird claim, but is probably the most accurate. Especially on the song Omega.
The entire Feathergun album is a masterpiece and Andrew's skills are on full display there.
thank you Chris for this video ! ✌
Best music production voice tutorial ever
After listening to the single version for so long, i never would've guessed that Teddy Riley used so many of these elements on the album mix. Also, as someone with a bass/baritone voice, it's very fun to sing the chorus and the improvise at the end, then drop 2 or 3 octaves to do the post chorus talking part.
Michael knew exactly how he was using his voice. even when he sings 'imperfectly'
YES BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!
Thank you for your profound analysis!✌
I just started getting into your videos, love the channel and what you’re doing with the isolated tracks here - extremely useful hearing things out of full context and brings everything down to Earth. Really helps for the realization that we’re all doing the same thing just playing with sound and having fun with it.
I love those multitracks videos, great insight👌🏻
Sooooo excited to hear this!
great video ! very creative song! Thank you for your work !
Impressive ❤
Damn, I miss the sacred monster MJ as the French would say.
🐐...
Great job!!!
This was so fascinating and eye-opening. I learned so much and it made me love and respect Michael more than I already do. I am in such AWE of his genius right now. To me, after watching this video, he is on Beethoven's plane. Thank you, Chris, for opening my eyes and ears and mind.
Yes it's a remix version but it's different from a stem pack I have. I would love to get hold of the original
Thank you for this video, I can't miss any of them.Great
22:44 I love this part so much the climax
What I've always loved about the dangerous album, is how rough the vocals are. Almost like he did everything in one take and called it a day...
Mj was a genius musician I love it saludos desde Venezuela
the acapella to this song is something you DONT wanna listen to without headphones😂
"It's a sound painting that would not have happened, if the two vocalists were just singing." Lol 😂
Michael wanted Madonna on the track and she first accepted but wanted Michael to dress female and Madonna wanted to dress in male. Michael rejected Madonnas idea and Madonna ended up not being on the track. Instead the voice you hear on the album track is Stephanie of Monaco. In the music video tho it's actually Naomi Campbell's voice ...
Well Michael in this era wore lotsa makeup, red lipstick, fancy clothes etc, so was halfway there anyway!
@@lundswedenMJ wore military jackets all his life, so he sure wasn't "halfway there"
😂😂😂
@@lundswedenyou've completely missed the point
Again!!!😂
I forgot about this remix! Nice to hear. The tempo is definitely faster than the original so I wonder if they pitched up a bit.
You should analyze the track "Breaking News" on the "Michael" album 😅 So we can hear the voice isolated to see if it is MJ 😅
I was just jamming to the a cappella to this all week.
Never would have thought one of the best vocally sounding MJ covers you've done would be this song. It came off as a B Track joint when it first released.
You have to do Give In To Me by Michael Jackson if you haven't already, i don't remember but his vocals are fire in that one
WOOOOOOW
THANK YOU!!!
FINALLYYYY YAY
Yes yes yes
Didn't even recognise the song at all for the first part.
Another One 🔥
Thank you so much
When he says " dare me" 😱
Please, please, do Liberian Girl. Probably one of his best songs ever.
I have! Check the playlist linked at the end of the video :)
I've been waiting to see your reaction to this song especially with the noises which you could consider overly sexualised adding contact to the song which is just brilliant anyone who says that Michael Jackson was in any way homosexual/ asexual should listen to this song
Love the music! After listening to the lyrics, i need a cold shower lol 😂
Right?!
