There's so much you can do with iPads! I would say learn the craft of beatmaking on what you have before buying new stuff (telling myself this to stop from buying an OP-1)
Yo this a dope video! I make all my beats on BM3. Tip: If you hit auto slice then split in the sampler it will automatically chop your samples up in 2,4,8,16 parts etc.... it crazy feature!
That’s the 11” pro right? How do you like it? Is beatmaker 3 easy to use on that size? I have a first gen 12.9” that always crashes so I stopped using it. I wanna get the new 11” pro. But I’m a little unsure if it’ll be big enough to use beatmaker effectively.
@@DylanParisMusic thanks for the quick reply. Okay that’s the assurance I needed to get the 11, I feel the 12.9 is too big for portability besides just being at my desk and if the 11 is big enough I’m happy. Thanks a lot!
Thank you friend! This channel is where most of the songs I make end up, I do make other types of music as Dylan Paris on Spotify, but these types of beats have copyrighted material so I can't post them there.
Most iPads should be able to do it, and the audio is just wavs yeah! Also using plugins that are AUV3s. Only real issues on older iPads will be how many plugins you can run, and you’ll wanna confirm your iPad is supported by Beatmaker 3
Hey I really like your video. would you make more videos about Beatmaker 3? maybe your channel is more focused on making music with ipad, that will blow the traffic. just my thought. :)

This was the 11 yeah. I enjoyed the size. I swapped out for a 12.9 but Im thinking about getting an 11 inch m1 ipad pro this year.

This is an 11 inch pro, I have a 12.9 inch pro but the Air 4 is probably the best option these days
@@DylanParisMusic Wouldn't more screen real estate be better for making music though?
Always a trade off between size and portability and price. If the Air 4 existed when I bought the pro I would have saved 400 and got the Air
How did you use the sample with beatmaker?
Put the WAV file in the Imports folder in the main Beatmaker folder and then open it in the sample window :)

What did you use to load the Coldplay sample?
ipad built in screen recorder + youtube video of the song, copied video into lumafusion and exported as audio, imported audio into BM3
