I bet that mainsail weighs nearly as much as you do, ma'am, if not more. And those slides look like they're mot going up the mast in a frictionless way, so I'll accept that it's just plain hard to raise the main.
Excuses but I will take it :D That might just be correct about the weight :) As for the slides you are also correct they are a bit worn out but usually a good clean helps for a while. The mast gate also could use some slight adjustment but we will get to that part of 'The List' some day :)
