It helps if your daddy is a mechanic and a handyman. Way of a new life, free, healing fresh air, happy and content. Love the interiors, fitted everything needed.
What a beautiful bus conversion! One thing they might want to consider is film for the windows. I've heard there are some that allow full visibility to the outside while still providing privacy. It would reduce reliance on the blinds, and keep the bus cooler on those hot sunny days.
Love seeing a fellow Aussie doing van conversion. Slowly but surely more Aussies are warming up to the idea of living in a van. Thks for sharing. ☺️♥️🇦🇺
Finally!! So happy to see Aussies getting out there and doing their own conversions as well as then travelling our beautiful country. Kudos to this couple for enjoying life to the fullest!!
Wow We really like this bus. Love the layout, design and decor. We find it to be very functional. Wishing them safe travels. Thanks Matt and Danielle for sharing their story.👍👍❤
Very nice. Love the shower. I couldn't be without one. For me air conditioning is a must but other than that I think you've done a great job. Enjoy and safe travels.
Yes I've seen people take out vans and busses on road trips and live on it, but this is the first time I'm seeing people live fulltime on a bus. It's mind-blowing how they managed the space, and it doesn't look cluttered. Nice work.
This is so smart. I know there is a lot of maintenance and running costs involved in the upkeep, but this is SMART living. The cost of mortgages and rent in Australia (and the UK where I live) is astronomical, and therefore alternatives need to be sought. This is a great build and way of life. To be happy with less, but to explore, and see the great outdoors.
Elana, you've done really beautiful work on the conversion: what a beautiful fresh feel to the space, and so many smart decisions about how you use your solar power. Thank you, too, for being honest about the things you would have done differently. Mat and Danielle, many thanks for bringing us another inspiring video.
Elana, Your bus looks AMAZING, what a beautiful job and very thoughtful layout. Thanks for being so honest about the little pitfalls as well because when its your first build it is so hard to know what works best. Thank you:))
Of course her name is Elana :) She looks and definitely sounds like Elana from La Vagabonde. Nice bus to base a tiny home on! Not huge and not too small for two peeople.
Beautiful set up ready for the road! Everything is so neat and work easily and perfectly well adjust. We definitely get impression of a lot of space, many windows put accent on a very large space with view all around. Great bus! Wish it could be mine!
My friend and i were planing to make the interior of van but we didn't have any ideas and we where planning when we where abt 20 we are 18 and this is THE video we where looking for❤❤
Thank you for this beautiful video. Very interesting and full of great ideas. Well done for making water a high priority! When you were filming the 'garage' part, I could hear the magpies in the background 🥰 at the same time, the magpies and kookaburras were getting started for the day here at my place!
I haven't seen a huge number of bus conversion videos but this is the best looking one so far, love all the windows. On a side note, I always get a kick out of seeing a Thetford product in these videos because their HQ is in my hometown and my best friend and his dad both work(ed) there.
This is gorgeous! My absolute favorite. The design, the color coordination and ALL. I was worried there was no bathroom and shower at first. Then you showed it, I was like “yes” Now i can comment lol 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Yes, perhaps they will get a portable one at some point that could be plugged in when power is available, or when parked and additional solar panels are opened up
@Elana Coundrelis haha ok! Well thank you so much for explaining. I could never live that dream but it's nice to see others live it. LOVE the whiteness all over, i'm a big fan of the aesthetic. And i think i've spotted vegan sausages on the grill, no? :D If so, hello fellow vegan mate, from Quebec, Canada.
@Elana Coundrelis 10 ft² of roof space with 1" of rainfall is 600 gallons of water.. Many different types of filters to use. Plants love the sulfur more than city water
the bathroom door not flapping is such a lie not only does it flap whilst she was showing it off but in the traveling clip you can see it rocking back and forth a little 😂

nice planed
Well done!.
Pity links don't work...
She closed her channel and all her social media accounts not too long after this video was released.
Shout out to all the dad's behind the scenes that make the dreams of their children work
Yes! Shout out to them! I only wish I had my dad to help me with my conversion. Be well, be safe, cheers to all!🤗👍
I love my dad, but I wouldn't let him anywhere near my conversion project. He's a lot less handy than he thinks he is.
@@luns486 but please don't tell him that!
Yes all very lucky, my father was a very smart talented man but unfortunately he passed away 11 years ago now from COPD & lung cancer. Miss him daily.
@@jayjo-00 Dads can't have any credit can they? (No one was saying anything about mother's not contributing to anything.)
That bus 🚌 is the PERFECT size! Big enough to have ample room for everything but still small enough to park almost anywhere!
Oh man I would love to have that bus!love from MN 🥰🥰🥰
It helps if your daddy is a mechanic and a handyman. Way of a new life, free, healing fresh air, happy and content. Love the interiors, fitted everything needed.
Very beautiful conversion! We loved that it also includes a wc/shower! Kudos and best wishes for their travels!

Used coasters are pretty easy to find out of Japan. Thanks for the inspiration
That’s a super sweet bus conversion.
All the windows and white walls & ceilings make it bright and airy.
Happy Trails
That is a beautiful traveling home ...... and that it is a Toyota makes it that much better . I applaud you , your partner and your Father 👍
@Elana Coundrelis Tell your dad he is a wise man for that . Also he did even better raising his daughter ...... be safe 🙏
Love seeing a fellow Aussie doing van conversion. Slowly but surely more Aussies are warming up to the idea of living in a van. Thks for sharing. ☺️♥️🇦🇺
Adorable. The bus is nice too.
Stunning . Good length of bus. Great storage and shower and toilet. Safe travels
Think your dad can open West coast customs for busses. Amazing work
One of the most beautiful I have seen.
This mini bus is awesome. I could c my son & I living in it. Beautiful.
Finally!! So happy to see Aussies getting out there and doing their own conversions as well as then travelling our beautiful country. Kudos to this couple for enjoying life to the fullest!!
You and you dad did a great job on this camper van very eco friendly so kool
Eco friendly at 8 mpg? I don't understand. Even diesel would burn a ton.
Wow We really like this bus. Love the layout, design and decor. We find it to be very functional. Wishing them safe travels. Thanks Matt and Danielle for sharing their story.👍👍❤
It’s really nice. I did love to own it lol. How are you doing. Hope you are fine and staying safe out there?
Very beautiful bus! I'd never heard of the Toyota Coaster before this video.
This is a Japanese microbus.
There are other similar buses.
search word is
トヨタ コースター
日産 シビリアン
日野 リエッセII
三菱ふそう ローザ
A good journey.
Nice conversion... I like the airiness of the bus, and being able to see out of the bus so easily is cool. :-)
She's so beautiful!
Okay this one has to be the best one. Very clean, open and spacious!! Absolutely beautiful!
Fantastic build! The windows create an open feel to the bus.
Very nice. Love the shower. I couldn't be without one. For me air conditioning is a must but other than that I think you've done a great job. Enjoy and safe travels.
Great conversation! It has the esthetic feel of a modern almost Scandinavian style. Lovely!
I can’t help myself but this lady looks a little bit like lady gaga . And I mean this in the most positive way. Thanks for sharing!
The most possible way? That makes no sense xD
@@Wellthisisnotwhatiintended probably meant, the most _positive_ way
Much more attractive and authentic than Gaga!

This is a nice conversation. I love the tint on windows. Good job guys.
I love the planked ceiling most of all. The bookshelf at the far end of the bus looks great with the curvature of the ceiling.
Yes it’s just so beautiful. How are you doing. Hope you are fine and staying safe out there?
We're here, ideally, to LIVE our *own depths and affinities. Continued wholeness and joy to our hostess. Thank you for sharing.

I really love how you’ve done your bus, looks fabulous, great job!!
love the white it looks very clean
We don't have Toyota buses in the USA - very nice and I am sure pricy. Beautiful bus, layout and windows - love all the windows! Enjoy
That is beautiful. I personally love the ones with all the windows.
For a sec I tought it was Craig and Aimee from Kinging It - exact same layout and also white. Both are really beautifully done!
Beautiful Bus!!!

Really fantastic setting , thanks for giving us lots of ideas on how to convert a small bus to a living inب💕💯
Great setup & I understood all the tech u explained.
Very cool, an excellent platform for an RV. Not too big, not too small.. and lots of sun! Happy travels from the PNW. 😄
Elana, Your bus looks AMAZING, what a beautiful job and very thoughtful layout. Thanks for being so honest about the little pitfalls as well because when its your first build it is so hard to know what works best. Thank you:))
You really have done a very nice tidy job, I love it.

Really, really would love to do something like this.
There doesn't seem to be an Elana Coundrelis channel anymore!
Nice bus home!
How i wish i had a van house.. pray someone gifts me one
I would say the magic would happen in the back of the bus?
Nice build
Two wows, three thumbs up!👍❤️💕☺️
Nice. I'm going to install solar panels when I start building mine, but not in the near future.
Great built!
Good lay out. Stunning! Planning to have one someday because I love travelling🌻
Wonderful.
This is gorgeous! My absolute favorite. The design, the color coordination and ALL.
I was worried there was no bathroom and shower at first. Then you showed it, I was like “yes” Now i can comment lol 🙌🏼🙌🏼
It’s beautiful but I would need an A/c.
Yes, perhaps they will get a portable one at some point that could be plugged in when power is available, or when parked and additional solar panels are opened up
Same. It looks like it could get incredibly hot in there!
@Elana Coundrelis haha ok! Well thank you so much for explaining. I could never live that dream but it's nice to see others live it. LOVE the whiteness all over, i'm a big fan of the aesthetic. @Elana Coundrelis I'm on board with that hahaha!
Amazing, I really love it💕
That would be so freezing in UK weather haha. We don't get the luxury of those lovely big windows
Wow
Your bus is very nice :)
nice
If it ever breaks down, it is more of a not so mobile home but still a home...
@Elana Coundrelis 10 ft² of roof space with 1" of rainfall is 600 gallons of water..

the bathroom door not flapping is such a lie not only does it flap whilst she was showing it off but in the traveling clip you can see it rocking back and forth a little 😂
And if she is deaf like me she won't even hear it!
Wonderful Caper as well if you have a home.
