You just answered my stup¡d question 🤦🏻‍♂️. I’m looking for a direct grilling bbq grill. Not too much of an offset smoker, but wouldn’t mind having it to learn. When you were spraying the grills then pulled off the tray, BINGO!!😄👍🏽Thanks Bro!

Great job. I discovered the chimney charcoal starter and I used a glue-on seal from Amazon to seal the top and stop uncontrolled airflow into the and out of the grill. Now, because my charcoal is red hot when it's pot into the firepot, I have twice the heat and it's stable. Your ribs look great!

Nice rig. Mine will be delivered in a few days. I’ll season mine with bacon fat. I’ve got 2 primo ceramics, a char-grilled Akorn Komodo, an Akorn Jr, another ceramic cooker, two recteq pellet smokers, a three burner Teton stove with griddle and the pizza oven, a char-grilled side box, and now the char-grilled grand champ.

Great video. Why didn't you use wood to season? Charcoal doesn't get very hot for very long so you have to use a lot of it.

Shouldn't use lighter fluid on your coals, the smell will end up on your food. Get a charcoal chimney

    Noooo.
Hey, I always soke a ball of paper towels on vegi oil as a fire starter.
No fuel smell or taste from a gasi starter. 😮
