    Thank you. This is the easiest startup to circular breathing I have seen on-line. In just a couple minutes, I was able to breathe in and out while doing the spit technique. Even at this level I can now play a little bit longer than I have been able to do before. The animal calls & singing video added a great deal more variety to my playing, than just an "Eeee-Uuuu" song. Practicing your techniques will certainly help my range of play.

      @@didgegirl6 … Just FYI I had severe sleep apnea researched alternatives to CPAP
      After seven weeks of playing the didgeridoo still not doing circular breathing and doing oral pharyngeal exercises I’ve gone from 29.1 apneas an hour to none …
      Of course I have fallen in love with the didgeridoo and the incredible effect it has on the muscles of the throat…
      Thanks for the good instructions

    The problem is with trying to make the music smooth. There is a sound gap between the spit and the restarting of the drone. This makes playing feel very jagged.

      Thank you Conundrum. I know of this issue. This video is primarily to cover the very beginnings of circular breathing. At the moment I'm working on a series of videos that will address issues like this. I hope to have the circular breathing course available on my website soon.

    What do you think about holding air between the tongue and the palate (so inside the mouth), instead of the front of the cheeks?

    The Divine Feminine is rising up and you're part of that Pam. Been a long time coming but if you take the eternal viewpoint then it's not so bad.
    Good pointers on CB. I know I had little success until one day, just turned off the thinking and wallah, just happened. Look fwd to more bite sized tips on CB.

    Hi Pam! I recently purchased a sliding didgeridoo. It seems to get stuck as I slide it, and ends up "bumping my lip". Is there something I can use on it, to make it slide more freely? Thanks.

    • @didgegirl6
      @didgegirl6  3 года назад +1

      Hi Cindy! Hm, since I don't have a slide didge this is kind of hard to answer. The only thing I can think of is perhaps a very light coating of oil (olive oil, avacado oil etc). Just enough to make it slide a bit better but not so much to where it creates the problem of sliding too much. Hope this helps.

    Thank you so much for this video, it was beyond helpful to me in bridging the gap and starting to be able to circular breathe on faster rhythms. I still struggle trying to do more slow hormonic drones / rhythms but getting there. I started sharing my own didge videos on RUclips Kris Clifton @ McBean03 any feedback you could give would be incredible! I can’t think you enough for your CB videos!
