This is imo the best live version of "Light my fire". What an energy and freshness! This guitar solo instantly blows the mind. Beautiful piece of art. Thank you Jim for what you have given to us, I feel honoured to be a fan of The Doors. See you man in July in Paris. You are alive, just guzzling beers somewhere else than on this planet. You are a freedom man, that's how lucky you are!
I miss the spectrum as well. I played a few games in that rink as a kid playing travel hockey all the way up to high school and reggie leetch was my coach. St.marks Newark Delaware. I miss the spectrum and I miss the Vet. That place was absolutely awesome.
Incroyable~ RobbyKrieger IS CharlieChristian on lsd It's just outta control that instrumental~layers/linked in dripping run after run in minor scale(s). Beautiful.
kreaknindjan it’s available on cd . I was there, I was just 18 . Had seen Jimi Hendrix there a year earlier and many other bands over about a five year period .
And what a band . always in sync. The Freedom Man rides again. Ride! Ride! Ride! Great live version. Wish I was there.too young then.
One of the best live versions I've heard. And in my hometown. My dad was at this show. Unfortunately I was not, as I was only 3-weeks old.

Yes its a great version. Theres another version of this at the Boston show (2nd act) that is monsterous.
Dude could croon it and belt it out at the same time. There’s never been anyone like him. Astonishing.

The lizard king lives on.
1.59 sounds like an error , uncharacteristic of Ray but still simply EXPLOSIVE!
The Doors👍😘
1st song Robbie Krieger wrote, smash hit
Like Boston performance in April 1970. Krieger on top.
Was at Boston in "70" 2 shows for 3.50!
@@EddieC3336 If you hold the ticket today, it must be worth more than 3.50.
@@patrickp1441 still have stub, hid in bathroom between shows.65 still remember every detail, still get a smile thinking about whole experience
You are both extremely lucky and apart of history. I only wish I was around to have a chance to see them in philly. 20 years too late to the ball.
@@NationalAcrobatT but you are still at the afterparty, welcome, it goes on forever! Dance on fire! 🔥
Rutazzura,do you want an image of my ticket from this concert to add to the above slide show? The price of the ticket will amaze you.

Correct. Robby's tribute to John Coltrane...
coltrane could not hold a candle to krieger

Ray made an error at 1.59 or so , can't get it right all of the time
What??
Jim could be out at McDonalds at this point and back again on time for the rest.
Are you envious?
What is your problem lady?
Who says she has a problem? Lol.
