Not trying to go against what rough country is saying on not running a bushing spacer in that front leaf mount, but when you tighten up the bolt there nothing to stop the bolt from bending the mounts in and putting more pressure on the bushing itself. I maybe completely wrong just a thought. It could prematurely wear out the bushing I would think.

Your absolutely right and I have thought of it but at 82 ft lbs of torque I don’t think there will be much if any deflection.
Just picked up an 84 w250 and I know what company not to buy a lift from. Thank you for the great video!
Yes choose wisely thanks for watching
Nice video, a 9/16 bottom tap would have helped you alot with that stud; appreciate your content!
Yeah I thought of that after as well. Lol
Thanks for watching!
Your shocks are upside down. I made the same mistake and had them start leaking oil. The small shaft is supposed to go up on those shocks.
I did switch them thanks
So wait. You are running the front spring mount without a metal sleeve? How has it held up?
Yep that’s what they rough country recommended
Btw good video thank you
Thanks for watching!
In general about how much suspension lift can stock drive shaft be used.
Good question and I’m not really sure. I see most companies offer a 6” being the biggest. So I’m wondering if that is the magic number.
Good point, thank you.
How’d you get the captured bolts out on the passenger side shackle? Mine is hitting the exhaust.
I don’t remember having a issue with that.
@@ChadMyers73 I just roasted the bushing, slid right off after a lil fire
