  • Stewart Copeland returns to Rockonteurs for a face-to-face chat with Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt. Diving into the origins of The Police, his new book called ‘The Police Diaries’ - out later this year and his live tour of re-worked, new orchestrations of some of the band’s biggest hits, called ‘Deranged’. Stewart is the perfect Rockonteur, great stories from a truly great artist.
Rockonteurs is produced by Ben Jones for Gimme Sugar Productions.

Stewart Copeland is the man i count as the most experimental and genius drummer of all time.
This was a great conversation. I enjoyed every second of it!

Is the following the truth or myth? That on morning of September 25th, 1966 (my mums 20th birthday), at Zoot Money's house, Andy Somers as he was then, became the first person to play with Jimi Hendrix in the UK. In Zoot Money's front room, on Zoot's equipment. I read it in a Hendrix Bio once, but never heard the story since?

It’s true. Check out Andy’s interview with Rick Beato, it’s brilliant.
