Your videos help new Jeep owners so much. Good videos, great instructions as I upgrade my Grand Cherokee i will be watching your videos to see the easy way to get things done. Thanks again.
Got my supposed EOM tweeters off ebay and one of them are about 2x louder than the other now. I wonder if they're counterfeit or seconds. Too late to return. Sucks. Also, the little vent grids in the dash facia plate all crumbled and fell out from dry rot of being out in the sun. My dash looks like hell now.
Great video found it helpful as I am replacing the tweeters in my wj Jeep.Just wondering though if you have to disconnect the battery when doing this as some people say you have to.Thanks for the help.
installed a new Pioneer MC5500 single slot. Blew the speakers the same day lol. What do you recommend as a good replacement for the dash speakers? What about the door speakers?
The door speakers I replaced with Alpine's I don't remember the model numbers but they we're a direct replacement. As for dash speakers the only ones I know that fit are the ones that I recommended in the video but I don't know if they are still available.
Hey Martin, went to that site for the tweeters but everything on the site says it's not orderable. Everytime I try to add it to the sales cart. Maybe you can check the site and let me know if it is just me or has the site discontinued it's business. Maybe you have a number? Thanks for your WJ videos. They are really helping!
I found this link. The tweeters are the same. You'll need to buy the pig tails or use your old ones and solder them on. 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.75" OEM Replacement Dash Tweeters Speakers-Pair amzn.to/2GwSoAd Speaker Harness for Select Chrysler/Dodge Vehicles amzn.to/2IArdrP
replaced front and rear door speakers, tweeters in the front dash and new head unit, everything works great except the dash speakers.i traced all the wires and there wired up right, but they will not work.checked everything,so im stumped
Andrei D. Roman I don't understand what you mean by the green and black wires this is simply Plug & Play unplug the old speakers from the connector and plug in the new ones.
+Dan Acton Dan I was at Pick a Part today and checked out the ZJ's. The install would be similar but the tweeter is different. Look like the ones that are in the 99-04 are larger and would not fit.

Good video I have a 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee driver side speaker and door doesn't work golden Finity system gonna try to tweeters to good video
Could be bad speakers or the flex wiring in the door jamb is broken.
I didn't know George W. Bush made car audio tutorials. He's good at it!
Dope video. Quick question should we disconnect the battery before doing this?
Thank you I'm glad you liked it.
No need to disconnect the battery
Do you know if the same speakers are used in the jeep liberty? It sort of appears to look like the same dash, but you never know...
i don't know. next time I'm at pick a part I'll have a look

Are you they powered by the door speakers or connect to the radio separate ? I don't think either one is working on the dash at this time .
I believe they go to radio
That dashboard piece that you pryed off at 1:20 - do you know what it's called, and 2) do you know where I can get one? Thanks again.
