+Timothy Alpheaus They are fantastic. But to really appreciate them you've got to see them live. Exhilarating. I've seen a lot of of shows over the years(I'm 50) and it doesn't get any better Lucius. Their shows are magic.
I just heard this song yesterday while shopping at an Anthropologie store. They were playing it over the store speakers and I stopped mid-shopping and stood still, listening to this. It's not often a song makes me stop and take notice; especially a song that's played for ambience at a retail store. I listened to the lyrics and found the song via google (I didn't have an app installed that recognized songs at the time). Anyway, immediately hooked.
Lyrics I had a dream where You were standing there With a gun up to my head You were asking how it felt, to which I said "I can not lie, there is a tingling down my spine" You have revenge, I'll have it too What's mine is yours and yours is mine Then you laughed, you said I was a poet And you loved my use of words We had better get a move on Or they'll find us My heartbeat didn't get a moment It was racing up the hill We could be doomed Time's after us, we're after time Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Scene has changed, we're running through the airport Catching escalator rides Down and up again We never find the flight My friend is running in her wedding dress She left her gifts behind I'll never figure out just what we're trying to find I only know Time's after us, we're after time Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Wake up, it's not real life It's not living, it's not living proof How do I, do I justify staying in between the lines? There's just no good excuse Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Maybe I'll drive myself to madness Spinning in circles Don't have it figured out just yet Maybe May, may, maybe
"wildewoman" was a great great album... the 2 singles I've heard til now were a little delusional but this one is definitely nearer to the grace they had on the previous album. feeling better.. :-)

Lucius: The Live Album. When's it gonna happen? Some of us have been waiting impatiently for years. I can only listen to so many youtube videos before I need the real, live thing. Expect more pestering in the future. (It would be cool, but I'm totally sorta kidding.)
I am so in love with this song... I'm torn between having the whole world hear it cause it's just so beautiful but and ruining it with super fame and being overplayed... As conflicted about this as I was about SIA before she went mainstream famous... aaaaaarghhhhhh.
incredibly predictable song structure. what's with the key change? either commit to it for the rest of the song or don't have it at all. i like the instrumentation, though. very nice. better track than "born again teen."
1. Predictable? Are you new to pop music? 2. You contradicted yourself there by saying it was predictable and the. Asking "what's with the key change?"
+Eric it wasn't so much that the key change wasn't expected, it feels very unnecessary and it kind of feels like they realized it because they back out of it so quickly.
+Paul Jacobson Music doesn't have to be so linear! That's what's great about art, it doesn't have to make sense. That being said, this song is called Madness.. I think a random key change is rather appropriate. For me key changes are like entering another world. Like taking things to a whole new level. I think they did brilliant work with this song :)
This has got to be the most flawless key change of any song ever
I have just discovered this awesome band. I'm in LOVE!!!!

Phillip Causey Nothing wrong with that. Live life & enjoy while you can. What better way than with great live music?

Lyrics
I had a dream where
You were standing there
With a gun up to my head
You were asking how it felt, to which I said
"I can not lie, there is a tingling down my spine"
You have revenge, I'll have it too
What's mine is yours and yours is mine
Then you laughed, you said I was a poet
And you loved my use of words
We had better get a move on
Or they'll find us
My heartbeat didn't get a moment
It was racing up the hill
We could be doomed
Time's after us, we're after time
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Scene has changed, we're running through the airport
Catching escalator rides
Down and up again
We never find the flight
My friend is running in her wedding dress
She left her gifts behind
I'll never figure out just what we're trying to find
I only know
Time's after us, we're after time
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Wake up, it's not real life
It's not living, it's not living proof
How do I, do I justify staying in between the lines?
There's just no good excuse
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Maybe I'll drive myself to madness
Spinning in circles
Don't have it figured out just yet
Maybe
May, may, maybe
Recommend this music please
