    It is very clever! It is a complicated design but as always you make it looks so easy! Great tips for building the surfaces and especially the alternative to the trim-edges. I had never thought of making the pattern in this way! It's an eye opener

    Thank you so much!!is it possible to apply texture between pattern before twisting?? problems with the boolean?? ? thinking about finish surface between pattern when is casting!! Cheers PJ!!

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  2 года назад +1

      You can and always want to apply pattern before twisted or deform. You may want to consider the patterns size. If it is too small, it won't show after casting.

    Hi, I watched it as a reminder after a long break from designing. I couldn't wait for the end of video and to see how it will be joined/boolean union into one piece for printing out. At the final stage, the boolean command fails. The ring is not solid. Can it be printed like this? Thanks

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  Год назад +1

      I have playlist of Q/A on my channel. There are several video discuss boolean issue in depth. you can check it out. as for the 3d printing, you can print it out even all the part are not boolean as long as they are solid.

      @@PJChenJewelryDesign Thank you for your reply. You are not a bot :) Your channel looks very didactic. Your detailed and instructive videos era very encouraging to me to come back to design and join your PRO channel. Just have one question about interacting with you as a tutor. Could I ask questions if encountered any problems to get a solution?
      By the way, I remember the problems with Boolean Union before and even now in your video after ArrayPolar 24 pieces can't be Boolean Union :( But after ArrayPolar 12 pieces can be Bolean Union plus rotate/copy it I can get 24-piece solid. It looks like there is a limit for intersected parts or so, doesn't it? Regards

    Hello PJ!
    Can I ask a demo for a ring? which shape is like, an ivy vine climbing through a finger, there should be a few tips of ivy vines and the upper part of a ring shank gets a little smaller as fingers sharpen.
    It is like the antler ring you made before, but simply this time, the antlers are wrapping and growing through the finger. I wish to know how to control the each end organically.. and I have to make leaves at each end of the vines, so if you could do that as well, that will be great! and also everything should be half-rounded through the fingers like a normal ring. I though about making things and let them stick to a tapered extrusion and boolean difference it, but there should be a better option with subd I guess….?
    Hope my explanation is clear….By the way I received the computer so that I can install rhino7 right away today! So subd should work! Thank you so so much!

    your youtube videos are too difficult to learn from,its too fast. if this is the way your course would be , i planned on buying your course but i wont. you hide some of the significant steps in your youtube videos ,i dont know if this is a tactics to get people to buy your courses,then it is extremely disappointing. why put up video that people cant learn from by following the steps you used in the video. thats not fair at all. your videos are too fast.
