Enjoyed the in depth explanation of part of your routine. Most of it made perfect sense to me. I guess the only thing I would want to ask you would be about Judah's motivation or incentive. Obviously the majority of the training world involves reward/treats/etc, but with your method what makes him do what you ask? Is it just to please you or is it as you mentioned, making it fun for him ?? Btw, looked on your website upon your release of your video about the training videos and it said they'd be out soon. Looking forward to checking them out. Thanks Chris. Troy
@@secondwind75 that’s a very good question. Judah is actually a very low motivation dog. His desire for toys is pretty much nonexistent compared to all my other personal dogs. You can always try to motivate and encourage, but at the end of the day if the dog doesn’t have desire, it’s not going to be there. This is why I’m very particular about the dogs I keep. There’s always restrictions with every dog, regardless of breed. The point I’m making in this video is that everyone believes in order to get a dog to do something, there has to be a payment or a consequence. Yet, nothing else in life is this way. Nobody learns this way and nobody builds relationships this way in any other area of their life. If they do, they understand that the relationship is solely based off of a transaction. Our E-FLO courses teach how I build behaviors with dogs whether they have desire or not.
Amazing. Perfectly answers my question from the other day. This goes counter to everything I've been taught so far and I loved it. Love the analogy about buying beers for your friends. 😂 Really hope to see an online course from you soon!

Judah is having fun with his training, while his brother Eli takes his training seriously. Thank you Chris, keep up the great work !!
