"it might not be the right way, but it's the Sprayway." I'm Totally impressed!! it may've been a long video, but it was totally informative...I feel like i'm learning from a Zen Master of auto customization, Thanks for the awesome lessons.
Even older dudes such as myself being 64 yrs young am truly impressed with your work and has helped too inspire me too want to try something like this as well on my 92' Bronco XLT. Truly an inspiration. Thanks
Respect man. Your methods, and how you explain things so simply makes this very easy to learn from. I for one have laid a s...ton of fiberglass in my time, but always like learning new ways, and that fleece you use is gonna save me a TON of money basing things. Love watching you work man, keep inspiring!
I like the fact that you point out where you are buying the tooling and supplies, keeping it real. Most other channels/videos show only high end tooling and big name supply names. It goes to show that talent is talent, and you definitely have the talent part covered while using affordable tooling and supplies. BTW, that texture trick,WOW!!!! that right there blew my mind, added a new trick to my bag-o-tricks!!
I love what you do man , wow ! I would love to start something like this man or close to it , i like the way something looks when its finished and being reminded that its your worm and looks professionally done. Im beginning to realize im a DIY type of guy! Its cheaper when "You" know what your doing versus paying for labor as if "You" we're handicapped! Love your work man , i learned how to fiber glass from just watching your channel. Wow , what an impact , Right on man ! I don't usually comment on ppl videos either , thanks G !💯💯
"Rundo" I gotta say, that's brilliant! It's one of those ideas that when you see It you think, "That's so simple. Why didn't I think of that?" Who knows why, all I know is I appreciate you sharing such a great idea.
Robert Hersey 1. Stop lying. Your massive amount of grammatical errors shows your true intelligence and someone that has accomplished so much wouldn’t have the time nor care enough to make a comment such as yours. 2. CUSTOM does not mean someone has a paint and body shop or even have anything to do with paint and/or body work. It’s literally anything he wants to do that’s not OEM or something that’s mass produced that someone can purchase. 3. If it’s his car he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do. Not everyone has money to go buy whatever expensive paint and materials themselves and if he’s happy with the outcome then your opinion means dick. 4. Your post only served 2 purposes. 1. To try to shit on him (being a hater) and 2. Trying to make yourself look/feel good about yourself. That’s caused by some deep rooted insecurity you have and this video or the original poster has nothing to do with your ability to satisfy a woman or the way your uncle touched you when u were younger. Find it elsewhere. I’d like to add that he didn’t mention anything about trying to get peoples business. He could just be a guy that like doing things himself. And if that’s the case, even if the paint did mess up years down the road. Then he gets to do it again for a very low cost and maybe even change the color if he wants too. And last of all. No. You don’t have a yacht No one would spend their life earnings to retire and blow it all on a damn boat. That’s stupid. Also the people that actually do have yachts know that it’s a huge financial loss and would have spent their money on a lot of other things before giving a significant amount to something that loses value faster than a half chewed 4 piece chicken nugget meal from McDonald’s. To the person that made this video. GOOD JOB. The shit came out looking clean and for doing something in a home environment it looks very professional and I would gladly pay for your services. You’ve inspired me into doing this myself with some pods for my a pillars and doors
I just want to thank you for putting up these videos. I have so many new ideas since I've been watching them. I got an El Camino that I'm going to customize and your videos helped me realize that it's not about the space available, it's about creating new space. It'll be my first custom job ever, so I'll expect a few mishaps, but I'll record it all and put it up when its complete.
You are the only guy who shows his work in steps and properly show how you do things . No wrong or right way as long as it looks good and lasts for many years so good luck Bro May God Bless You
Unbelievable those look so nice.. Not some chinsy overview but detailed step by step instructions.. Hopefully the old box will get some love soon.. That will be epic..
I seen another comment in here saying it’s not the right way but the sprayway, I agree. You do you and it still came out the way you wanted. At the end of the video I like how you kept the camera on the finished product for a long time, Shows pride ! I’m almost done with mine .
I sit here and watched all of your video. It was great in explaining every little detail. You explained how to fix the little things that at first that didn't come out right. I have never even thought about doing anything with fiberglass, but with you explaining everything like you did. I now will give it a try. Thank you very much for doing this video.
Amazing work as usual brother, these turned out KILLER! Never considered the bedspray myself but i think it turned out awesome in the end, I'll have to try it sometime. Dont let the haters hold you down man, you're rocking this shit. Keep up the good work man!!
This is the most informative channel I have found for fiberglass door panels or pillars. I really appreciate what you do! Headed to your website right now.
I watched one of your videos and now I have to watch all of your videos! You're really inspiring me to do some custom work myself. I'm looking at my 1990 Chevy and seeing all the possibilities after watching your videos. I just wanna say thanks man!
Pro Tip. When using a hole saw, to avoid "blowout", instead of drilling all the way through in same direction, stop, and drill back though the opposite side. 😉
New subber here SW...as a noob to the fiberglass world, you showed me a different way at going about building up A Pillars...You laid the smack down on this build, and you done it on mostly a minimal budget...Now that I have saved the video, I will be able to slowly utilize it with doing my own build..Thanx for the vid
I watched so many videos and none of them were as informative as yours I wish I saw this one first it would of saved me hours of time anyways thanks for such a detailed video I’m ready to try it now.
I made some buckets to install some speakers through a flat panel. I used fleece and resin with supports hot glued and the fleece stapled. The resin melted the glue and the buckets collapsed. I wound up giving it another try, but shot some finish nails into the supports. That time they stayed together and now are installed on the boat. Sounds great.
I gotta say bro, this is the best interior fiberglass video I've watched yet..i feel totally confident about doing this my self now! Thanks for taking the time to do this video!
all the sandpaper i tossed before i seen that tip.... i am shame.. lol. But seriously, i've learned more about this stuff from your videos lately than i ever knew. Thank You. This is what youtube is all about, rare good channels like yours
Man, I've gotta tell you....I've got a lot of respect for you and what you do!!! You've inspired me to get back in the game and do what I love. Thanks Bro!!!
Thank you for the great videos man I've always wanted to learn how to do fiberglass work I used to do car audio installation years ago but now I just do it on my own cars and my son's cars in my spare time and now I'm going to learn how to do fiberglass your videos step-by-step are very understandable thx
Your videos are fabulous. I have learned much. And your narration is terrific and full of hints and other helpful nuances to make the job perfect. Thanks man, much appreciated.
I had to hit the like and subscribe buttons. You share all your tips and tricks, clearly show any imperfections, and how to correct them. I've learned more in this one video, than all the other channels combined. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. I've been researching how to construct an over head console for my 57 D100, and A-Pillar pods for my 99. I'm ready to tackle these projects now that I know what to look for, and what products to use. I would of never thought to staple around the base to retain the shape. Thanks again.
You'd be the best homeboy to work with. I love your videos. Please show us some of your setting up technique for painting. And especially what your doing with bondo and resin. I am lost when it comes to guns and pressure and those types of things. You make sense of all of this. Please keep it up. There are lots of us who need ya 💯
One of the rare VIDs I watched on youtube in which no questions remain open, which is always a good indicator of mastery! Great video and thank you for sharing your expertise!!! Subscibed!
I like this idea of projecting the tweeters outwards. Looks professional. It's given me a few ideas as I'm new to messing with dashboards. I'm a carpenter by trade so I got a little head start. Cracking idea. Thanks a lot for taking time to make the video. 👍🇬🇧
Got a 83 box Chevy.... you just inspired me to go fiberglass on the interior. Working at a body shop in H-Town bout to black it out from bumper to bumper and the entire inside fiberglass and wet jet black. Yessir
This is just great. I was hesitant to put my tweeters straight into my sail panels because I really wanted them angled and higher up. This vid breaks it down and makes it super simple to fiberglass my A-pillars. Thanks very much sir. Feels like a real build and shows the small things, which most how-to's seem to obfuscate.
Bro this is LD from Dallas. I appreciate you making theses videos. been wanting to fiberglass me door panels in my Suburban and just never knew how. watching you is going to be a huge help for when I get started
Thanks for showing how it's done.... I been watching your videos on my free time. I'm glad to see a brother doing big things on his own. Much love I've learned a lot watch the videos you post up.. Thanks keep'm coming.
I know this is an older video, but dude you do a damn good job and I love watching your videos bc you do a good job explaining things and give me a chance to learn. THANKS
That hot glue a life saver.. man I was thinking how to do something like this but it was involving bondo/fiberglassing spikes onto a protruding rounded flat topped surface... man imma make this outa cardboard and get it done today!!! I think i gotta watch your classes on a daily basis.. gets the mind going.. inspirational, and damn creative!!!
You are so smart man. I appreciate the DETAILED video. I have been watching dozens to learn how but they always leave something out leaving me with a bunch of questions you missed nothing you motivated me so much I appreciate it. I will be doing my first pillars next month.
Nice job and a great instructional video for newbies and the "experienced" You are a real talent and show that you don't have to have a million dollar shop and spray booth to do good work and be creative. Bravo!
Men you are an inspiration! Thanks for yoir show and for teach what you do. Men i paint 3 cars allready cos of you, you are a motivation and kipp up good work. Not see all your movies on youtube but have seen a bunch. Thanks a lot and kipp up the good work. Thank you bro! Wish you the best! Best regards from this Portuguese guy that live in Norway!
Dawg...have you received a teaching certificate or a your instructors license...if not you should consider...the methods you used in your videos can qualify at elite level trade institutions! Yoh skills and industry insights are benchmark to car audio fab world...much support, bruh!!!
nice work man!, one trick i learned for interior screws is to screw as many as you need into some wood (just two turns) and paint them when you put your colour on, a bit of clear after that and when dry they will blend in perfectly. a thin polythene bag over the end of your screwdriver is just enough to stop the paint coming of the screws when you put them in on the final install. keep it coming i love this stuff.
omg great, I will defiantly shout you out, because you go me wanting to paint my truck!!! Take care man and thanks for subbing to me as well You are the bomb.com
SprayWay...I learned a technique that you might be able to use when you lay your fiberglass mat down. We use carbon fiber mat doing repairs on my aircraft and we put the mat inside a large ziplock with one side cut open, pour the resin in and use a spreader to work the resin into the mat and then you can open the bag and lay the wet impregnated strips down. And maybe a GoPro with a head mount would help you to record and use both hands at the same time, steady shot and HD quality! Your work is the shit fam!
Just came across this vid. I installed car stereos for 10 yrs back in the day and did stuff like this. This video was very entertaining and those came out great. It looked like a perfect vinyl wrap with that texture and flat clear. Nicely done 👍.I just subscribed and I'm looking forward to more of your content to watch.
Dude, I know this video is a year old. But honestly they still go way hard!!! Especially from a motivation stand point. As much as I have some reservation, or fear, of trying something like painting on this level, your vids help out a lot. Thanks again for posting them. It helps with a budding painter or someone wanting to try to paint!!!
Here's A Video Of Fiberglass Supplies To Get When Fiberglassing ruclips.net/video/spw6BGPdjbg/видео.html
You Sir, are a prime example of "attitude is everything". Your skills are impressive, no doubt, but your demeanor is your best trait.
"it might not be the right way, but it's the Sprayway." I'm Totally impressed!! it may've been a long video, but it was totally informative...I feel like i'm learning from a Zen Master of auto customization,

Dang that turned out fantastic. The only thing I hate is how easy you make that look. :) But that is a sign of someone that really knows their craft.
Thanks bro...I just research and study before I jump on a task...thanks for the support

I just started doing fiberglass. I think I have done pretty good so far and it is thanks to your videos I even tried
That's great William
Pro Tip. When using a hole saw, to avoid "blowout", instead of drilling all the way through in same direction, stop, and drill back though the opposite side. 😉
Great tip Grumpy, I'll be sure to use it next time...👍
Or just go half way and reverse the drill and lower the amount pressure you get the same result
Sometime you can't get at you work piece from the back
What size wood do you use 1/4,1/2 thickness?
My wife hates driving my Bimmer. She don't see the bigger pic past the primer and fiberglass. True art work
No doubt Dave...appreciate you
@@SprayWayCustoms I need a trunk mod vid. Something super sic. Tryin tuck 5 10"s in the back.

hi sprayway .. i want to see the whole car done..
I made some buckets to install some speakers through a flat panel. I used fleece and resin with supports hot glued and the fleece stapled. The resin melted the glue and the buckets collapsed. nice work man!, one trick i learned for interior screws is to screw as many as you need into some wood (just two turns) and paint them when you put your colour on, a bit of clear after that and when dry they will blend in perfectly.
a thin polythene bag over the end of your screwdriver is just enough to stop the paint coming of the screws when you put them in on the final install.
keep it coming i love this stuff.
omg i don't know how i found you but i can watch you all day, i have learned a lot from you. Your a genius....thanks for sharing

Ive watched many videos of yours. You really do spray good im a home garage painter and i know how hard it is to produce a clean finish Great job sir
That's the way to go on the older cars it makes the whole piece stronger 💪 keep it up bro 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🙏🏽
I've looked at a lot of these a pillar videos and even though you took a while man I must say it's the best I've seen. The finish is really stunning.
Thanks Gordon....compliments and comments like yours keeps me on my feet to post more vids....very appreciative
You can use the "cheese grater" as soon as you brush on the filler. I've never seen rosin and filler mixed. That's pretty cool 👌
Thanks Nic Morales
Super impressed with the patience, diligence and commitment to getting it done right!! Great work bro!
Appreciate you Damon
SprayWay...I learned a technique that you might be able to use when you lay your fiberglass mat down. We use carbon fiber mat doing repairs on my aircraft and we put the mat inside a large ziplock with one side cut open, pour the resin in and use a spreader to work the resin into the mat and then you can open the bag and lay the wet impregnated strips down. And maybe a GoPro with a head mount would help you to record and use both hands at the same time, steady shot and HD quality! Your work is the shit fam!
Thanks for the info
Every time I watch one of your videos I’m blown away man. Amazing!

Very much appreciated
This looks SO GOOD!!! I don't know how you could have made it look any better !!!! Keep up the good work and thanks for posting...

Ok then. I appreciate you
Dude, I know this video is a year old. But honestly they still go way hard!!! Especially from a motivation stand point. As much as I have some reservation, or fear, of trying something like painting on this level, your vids help out a lot. Thanks again for posting them. It helps with a budding painter or someone wanting to try to paint!!!
Ain't nothin' new, young man...just knocked it way out of the park once again! Talent...Talent...Talent, in MOTION!!!!!!!
