There is actually a USB version of this mic, but I haven't tested it, so I can't say how good it is. The Samson Q2U is generally well regarded for the price.
Picked a black one up brand new today for $60. Had written off all dynamics for my desk setup but you and one other reviewer convinced me this is probably sensitive enough to try it out. Also you're the best-sounding reviewer over this mic. Are you using a channel strip?
Oooh, I love it when you talk dirty..millivolts per pascal. The actual recording sounded pretty good. The cardioid demo was very interesting. Personally I would like it if you provided a link and a price you paid at the time you reviewed it.
Unfortunately, the price I paid is no more. I paid $70 at B&H Photo. I just checked, and it's back to showing discontinued there. So strange. It was back in stock at $150 for a couple weeks, and now it's showing discontinued again. The black version was on sale for $70 for a bit, but it's currently sitting at $110. I generally don't post links for a couple reasons. I don't want to look like I'm trying to sell things. I mean, I sometimes praise things or recommend people consider them, but I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to push any particular thing. Plus, prices and availability seem to change so much these days, I really would recommend people search around to ensure availability and a good price. I've clicked links on other folks' videos and sometimes I get pages that are no longer available, stuff that is only in stock with a ridiculous seller that is massively overcharging, etc. So I generally tend not to put links. Same goes with listing prices for some things. Some items tend to be fairly consistent in price, but some things fluctuate a lot and I'm hesitant to mention a price. But I'll keep it in mind. I suppose a lot of people appreciate a link and at least a general idea of price. Thanks for the feedback!
Currently on sale as deal of the day for $50 at B&H.
Just bought one for 50$ and I hope I made a good purchase
Compared to the Podmic, the A77 sounds fantastic.
Thank you. Looking for a dynamic mic for voiceovers. My 3.5mm input jack for mic makes so much noise looking for a usbc mic

If there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
@@bigtb1717 thanks boss. I’ll look up some reviews online and maybe order one.

No channel strip. Just recording directly into a MixPre 3.

Would this be good for placing in front of a guitar amp?
Possibly, but I can't say for sure, as I have zero experience with mic'ing up a guitar amp. Sorry.
