a strong, independent woman - she does a great job with Trixie and doesn’t need the assistance of a man, she has Lucifer by her side because she wants him there. I love that in Lucifer they present the women as people in their own right - they aren’t reliant on men to fulfil their lives.

You right, just a shame we don't see really strong independent men anymore in tv shows, and the rare occasion that we do they are the "damaged loner" types and they are usually put in a romantic relationship with a nagging female in order to change him into some pathetic dude who's reliant on his woman.

What I find so powerful about Deckerstar is that Chloe, the most selfless character in the show (along with Linda of course) after losing *so* much, giving so much to do what’s best for everyone else-she finally focuses on what *she* wants, who *she* loves-Lucifer, in that last episode. She uses personal language, “don’t leave me” and “I love you”, and after so long of doing what’s best for everyone around her, she can’t lose this one source of light and love in her life.
I don’t know, I’m a sucker for that shit.

Chloe always wanted Lucifer to love her but she didn't know how to tell him and when Chloe tells him not to leave, we can see that Chloe is desperate that Lucifer leaves and chloe finally had the courage to tell him that she loves him. i can't wait for the new seaon!!!! great edit and song

I've seen some of Lauren's other roles and I think she looks her absolute best self here in Lucifer as Chloe Decker.

There is only ONE problem with Lucifer's flamboyant, persona & Tom's insane acting skills; both (although immensely enjoyable), is soo powerful that, it tends to eclipse EVERYTHING in its horizon! This video is a much deserved reminder of 2 elements- Chloe's character (which fans often diss) & Lauran's SUPERLATIVE acting chops! Lauran, both u & Chloe were electrifying in S4. Kudos, gurrrl!

Can't believe how they treated this topic in season 5, such a shame. They made it seem like a teenager problem and within two episodes Chloe forgets everything thanks to Amenadiel's theory to which Lucifer believes with no reason, and all of this only to speed things up between Lucifer and Chloe. It's like they never focus on Chloe's character alone, it's always Lucifer or deckerstar and honestly that sucks. This show gets worse every season.

An amazing edit! I feel people are too harsh with her reaction towards Lucifer’s devil face. Like in the end she’s a normal human who finds out that she had been working with the actual devil. (And don’t say Lucifer was telling her that all along. No one would believe that. She obviously took it as a metaphor. No one would believe it without making any proper sense) She obviously needed space. And within that time limit, she got manipulated by someone else to betray Lucifer. Let’s not forget about how Linda was avoiding Lucifer and Maze when she found out. Wasn’t this the same reaction by Chloe? The only difference is, Maze found Linda and spoke to her while some mad priest got to Chloe and spoke nonsense in her. It was overwhelming yes, but nobody was there to tell Chloe ‘Oh in the end, he’s the same Lucifer’ Linda freaked out when she saw Lucifer’s face, but she doesn’t receive any hate over that, then why is Chloe receiving it? Her reactions were correct. (Plus not to forget that Linda is in a profession where she knows how to overcome feelings and very stressful feelings)

Netflix, Stop breaking deckerstar, Chloe suffers a lot. She accepts Lucifer as he is, she is not terrified, she is scared he leaves her.
Chloe was absolutely stunning in season 1 and 2 and I could see that she had some work on her face, but it became much more evidence in season 3 and especially the first episode of season 4 with her lip! I wish that she'd stop messing around with her face! Because being able to express your emotions naturally with different facial expressions is a huge part of what makes a woman look beautiful!
