I had a black one in the 60's. Looking back, it was the most fun bike I ever owned and I had a lot of bikes after that including a Husky 250, an RM250, a Duster 125, and a Bultaco Matador. I love the way the engine fired, alternate 180 deg. which required 2 coils and 2 sets of points which were a bitch to align. But it made that great engine sound. Great motorcycle. Wish I had one today.
OMG sir you are a genius....have a '67 completely torn down and hope one day i'll be able to hear it run also...and the last person tore down the motor completely so it'll be a job and a half

Nice job. As someone who's owned about 2 dozen of these over the years, it's nice to see someone restoring them right

Love it!
Did you rebuild the motor ?
The engine was fully rebuilt when I picked it up as an unfinished project.
