Nice review but I dont think these products were advertised as a Natural Haircare line. I think its a haircare line for All Hair Types. But, I do agree that a conditioner should've been available for the launch.
You’re absolutely right! I summarize that fact towards the end as I’m wrapping up. It is even listed on the website, under “Who It’s For?” which products are for All hair types, and which ones are really good for curly hair.
It’s important to read those details so you pick out the right products for your hair type. Have you tried any of the products yet? Do you have a favorite?
@TrulyHVynLeigh I haven't tried yet, but I've seen some reviews, and people seem to like the shine the products are giving their hair.

I’ve seen many more reviews from people who straighten their hair or have extensions. I shared my perspective as someone who primarily wears my hair curly.
It’s not for all hair type. Low porosity hair can NOT use this

It says to apply the styling lotion “SPARINGLY”. It looks like you applied a lot. You didn’t need more than a pea-dime size for each 4 sections of your hair.
I caught that too, and truthfully, I don’t believe that my hair would have done much of anything with just a dime-size of product! Haha, I definitely added more, and I think that’s why I had a bit more definition. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel that moisturized, regardless of me using more than what was recommended.
This hair line is in line with a reconstruction/repairing system so I understand why it is marketed for “all hair types” but everything is for not everybody but instead, there is something for everybody. I personally don’t subscribe to the hair typing chart UNTIL it comes to styling products. IN my opinion the lotion is more for straighter/wavy hair OR for straight naturals before a silk press. I also think that these are meant to improve the health of your hair over time. If her and her team are smart, you should see a significant difference in your hair by the time you finish the products, making you to continue to buy it more. My prediction is that they’ll continue to roll out more products targeting different hair type needs. I do hate that they didn’t include the conditioner and a leave in but also we don’t know why they didn’t roll out with the others so I’d rather they hold it to perfect it rather than throwing out there just for a dollar. This was a long comment 😂 but I just wanted to add some perspective to the conversation. I think your review was great and fair and honest.
I absolutely agree there is something for everybody! Like I loved the clarifying shampoo, and now it’s in my rotation of products. The reconstructive treatment mask is also really good.
I’ll take your comments into consideration, about using the products over time, and I’ll give the fermented rice water a few more chances 😄
I look forward to what they’ll come out with next. I would say conditioner and leave in for sure, but heat protection products bc she clearly has the secrets with keeping that blonde from damaging her hair and wearing heat-treated styles 👀 that’s the real tea lol
You could use a spray bottle or cup and bowl.
I want to try that! The second time I used the treatment, I left the top off the bottle, but this is the next thing I want to try.

Yes. I poured the rice water over my hair while leaning over the tub. It collected into a large bowl and I repeated the process until all of my hair was saturated.

Protein is literally in every product in some form or way. Low porosity hair can NOT use this if you care about the health of your hair. IMO they dropped the ball majorly.
I’ve found that applying some sort of protein treatment every 4-6 weeks is necessary for my hair to strengthen the hair follicles. Silk protein treatments are better for me, but I think it’s important not to over-moisturize your hair. I’ve done that in the past (while avoiding protein all together) and experienced hair loss. My hair was too weak and started breaking off.
Do you have low porosity hair? What do you do to strengthen it occasionally?
