I consider Roger as one of overpowered characters in the game when in a party of three or more. Instant kills all minions in a room and can knock off 50% off some bosses as resilience don't count. Lobster good shooter special ammo with Warding talisman is good combo. Plus in death him rolling a 2 on the die has won me games. Fantastic game. Always fun to play
Dude, I only discovered the Hellboy board game a few weeks ago, i've had a few lucky finds with box full of evil for only £50, got the Christmas Hellboy resin mini and today bought the only Big box of Doom I could find-fricking nerve wracking that i've spent the past few days praying that nobody would buy it before me, whilst I was waiting for a late wage payment to finally get into my account. All I need now for my collection is some of the KS exclusive items, dice tray, the pub diorama, conquerer worm and the HB role playing game(although I might just buy the book/dm screen etc individually as the game contents are identical to the HB board game. Oh and someone to actually play with. The game is great solo but sometimes its nice to bounce off of other players.
Another questions: 1- Did you back it up on Kickstarter or is your Big Box retail? It seems some items from the stretch goals are included only for KS backers according to the information on the KS campaign page, but the retail version also has a "Kickstarter" green badge on it. 2- Do you know if the Conqueror Worm retail is limited or something? I can't find it anywhere, and I didn't even know it would be printed. Thanks again!
@@mostlysolo Ooh, I see. I bought my retail box yesterday, so it might be that the retailer backed it on KS and sold the "retailer KS editon", right? If that's the case, it may have the same content of the non-retailer KS edition (your box), is that it? I forgot there was the retailer pledge... So far I could find only Wild Hunt, Mexico and this Big Box, and it seems BPRD is due to restock in some stores. Maybe I'll find Darkness Calls and Conqueror Worm in the future, I'll keep watching. Nice! I have just bought the Big Box (didn't arrive yet, I live in Brazil), and I'm looking for the Conqueror Worm, but the UK retailer I buy from doesn't have it yet. The only thing I didn't like about the Big Box is that it doesn't come with terrain plates, which is kinda lame. What terrain does the new case files use? Anyway, the miniatures are awesome, one of the coolest boardgame miniatures I've ever seen!

Roger is no good because he draws health from other BPRD characters. I got the solo hellboy with my box of doom haven't tried him yet.

@@mostlysolo I only needed the darkness calls expansion (and the 4 extra bosses) but yeah FB marketplace actually had a use for once :)
