I have seen a lot of "Always & Forever" tribute videos, but by far this is the most incredibly well done "The Origials" montage video of all time....just excellent...
This gave me chills, it's wonderful, the song, the edit, the scenes show how complicated and beautiful their relationship is.
Esther does love her children, in a sick way. She tried to protect herself and she was deluded also covering up her own mistakes

i loved it... it always gets me emotional to watch this one. i think plec made a mistake with henrik tho.
i mean, what about Henrik? the 7th mikaelson who was innocent in all of this. it was a member of ansel's family, probably his wife who tried to kill klaus but henrik was in her way, she was, who killed him, (klaus did say it was a member of his fathers family, after all) which mikael soon decided to tell esther to turn finn, elijah, kol and rebekah into the originals. after ayanna refused to help them, (she probably chose to help tatia's child after elijah killed tatia, i feel ayanna helped raised her child, even tho their families were rivals-turned-frenemies-turned allies) ofc klaus was later turned into the hybrid, forced to turn on a full moon, since his werewolf side was dormant before mikael forced esther to do so. ill never understand why they never brought henrik back, but the others who died, even freya came back bc of dahlia's immortal link to her. julie missed an opportunity to resurrect henrik and bring devon back to play him again. finn came back twice, no 4X and still caspar didnt wanna. henrik was more important but like him and finn. they were both the eldest and youngest brothers who were portrayed as plot devices for freya, elijah, klaus, kol and rebekah. nvm the drama between mikael/esther/ansel whose lives we never saw properly in s2. i wanted to see how and why esther fell for ansel, while mikael was away grieving freya, hating on finn/elijah up until klaus was born. also i think mikael was hexed by dahlia or another witch loyal to ansel's family when ansel would watch klaus from afar been beaten by mikael and just stood there and listened to his son cry out for help. also wanted to see tatia more in flashbacks. even a young tatia with her child. she wouldv been a good villain for the family esp in s4. the hollow was total waste and unnecessary recurring villain that practically destroyed the definition of TOs as rebekah said. they were the definition of cursed. or better yet, somehow made inadu as tatia's child. wouldv explained why the wolves never harmed tatia's family bc she had to be protected been amara's doppelganger. still wonder how esther knew about tatia unless ayanna told her, which back then the petrova's/bennet's were still rivals, yet katherine/emily/lucy were frenemies, while belena are allies. tatia's kid was never heard or seen again, whatever esther did with tatia's body which is the biggest plothole ever since the "red door episode" aired. not2mention resurrecting finn again only to kill him off. finn and henrik deserved better, and so does klaylijah too. i feel bad for hope atm. elijah was right in s1 when he said to klaus. "and what of this child, is she to grow up long enough to even know her mother?" well hope did, it was her 4separations from klaus too. js,IMHOofc

Henrik. The one whose death started the war between Mikael and Ansel.
I'm sure deep down Esther knew it was Ansel's family who killed her son, after watching and hearing Ansel was watching Klaus from afar. I'm sure his wife figures it out. Hence Klaus paternal side were never heard of again after Hope come back in s2. Yet I felt like Ansel was killed for no reason other than Klaus was given a chance to know his father, but bc of Mikael and his upbringings of torture and realizing his father allowed his stepdad to beat him. Given which Esther gave him a necklace with a spell to keep his wolf side dormant every full moon. Esther had a chance to be a better mother had she not protected Mikael from Klaus killing him. Klaus killed her bc of her lies. He always said he knew it was his father's family who killed Henrik. I feel like in a way of putting those things together. But still what surprises me is we see Haylope turn into their wolf form but never Klaus. That always intrigued me, he never turned after his first time with Elijah in tvd s2 finale. I pray we get to see more of Hope turning into a wolf. Legacies needs to up their game that's for sure OMG
But poor Henrik. The brother who died too young, and long forgotten about that he was killed by a member of my father's family. A quote from Klaus in first season of TOs, then of course others via Lenoresther in s2.
