Red-blue anaglyph 3D glass works best with regular smart TVs. You can watch the movie and experience the 3D effects as well, but please remember that the video quality will not be impressive. The colours will look dull, and you will also notice a lack of sharpness in the picture.

Glasses that we usually get in halls are polarized 3D glass. Computer monitors on the other hand typically support Anaglyph 3D glasses. So i don't think your plan will work.
