Tatra T3 is very old tram, most of them are not in service now and some other tatras ended even earlier than older T3. Sometimes it's just better buy new tram than keeping operable 50 years old trams. I think number of trams was lowered becaue of almost no tourists in pandemy. If it's really from september 2020 then it was little better time, but still much less people than before.
@@Thomas.Deverell Prague streets are actually mostly wide, city was very changed in 19th and first half of 20th century. Narrow streets are only in very historical center where trams are not operating mostly. ;-) But depends where are you from, if you are from USA, then wide street probably means something with 8 lines for cars for you. :-D
