Composer's choice respected, but "God" replaced with "heart" would have a more marketable appeal. We have all lost loved ones and pets. Maybe an ode to the angels on Earth we have loved is due.
I understand. I lost my grandfather and miss him so much every day! But I interpret this song like God talking to us that He is with us! Even in the darkest of times like the pandemic, He, the Lord God Savior of the World is with us! Many people have a misconception of God; they think He is looking at us so that when we make a mistake He destroys us. THAT IS NOT GOD! God is loving, kind, merciful, and cares about each of us on a personal level! He wants to forgive us for our mistakes when we commit them. 2 Peter 3:9 says that God wants everyone to come to repentance and be saved! So I encourage you, look for God! He loves you more than you can possibly imagine! He payed the ultimate price for our mistakes! And with this song, He is telling us He knows what is going on! He extended His righteous hand so we can hold on and have hope! But the question is: Are YOU willing to hold God’s hand and trust Him? God bless you!
@@fortimusprime I've found Him. In every note of music, in every sunrise, when I sing on-stage with my choral family. I didn't know this was verse set to music. One would think it would be noted somewhere.
Keith A. Neubert I am rejoiced to know you and your family found Jesus! And that you and your family praise Him every day and sunrise! Many of these verses set to music have the verse at the beginning on the top right, but sometimes it’s easy to miss. I am in a concert choir and we sang these types of music. I am rejoiced to know you know Jesus! And we trust His promise that we will see again the loved ones that went to heaven before us! God bless you! Stay safe!
@@fortimusprime I said "God," not Jesus. Everyone has their version and name for "Love." No matter our differing beliefs, keep singing. It's for the same great song.
@@keitha.neubert3063 Don't worry!😁 I understand! We keep singing! However, the door to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord is open until He comes back! John 3:16“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." I respect your choice and belief! Stay safe! God bless you and your family!
This is a gorgeous song! The words of our LORD!
