the thing about this fight is it's not really that hard on UH with basic equipment once you get rid of the annoying eclipse guys chasing you. the DB itself has predictable attack patterns. like you said, it's just about patience and lots of rolling and shooting.
In this fight, at the starting cutscene, you can pause it quickly, unpause it and roll back. You should be able to beat the closing door, having the cover and height advantage for the battle. Idk how to break the breakable plataform and getting down tho, I only did this fight with blast sling and shield-weaver before :/
Interesting, I might give that a shot. I believe at some point over the years I did find a "safe spot" just to the right of the entrance that makes this battle a lot easier, but this is one of the first videos I did like this, so I wasn't really wise to hunting those out yet. Still, this one makes a pretty exciting video, so I like it
I was doing this as well although on lower difficultly on first attempt. Realised after some videos that there are many weapons and mods to make things easier. Now playing through again in the proper way 🤣
I recently 100% frozen wilds on normal difficulty and there were a few times I turned off the console only to turn it back on 12 minutes later. Soon new game + ultra hard..... i will not be revisting frozen wilds.
Why didn't you use your 19 points to get 3-arrow load capability? You could have wiped out those knee weak points in two salvos each, and then several others while it was on its face. Knocking out that shoulder rocket launcher in this particular fight is a first for any HZD game I have viewed, though. Congrats.
He didn't die. I was just softening him up, then quickly running to hit the second guy with my spear before the alarm spread. If you watch closely you'll see the first guy's yellow alert icon lingers while I'm running to get into position.
At one time during the fight against the Deathbringer alone, he got you good with missiles and you lost 98-99% of your health bar, but a second later it was full again??? I didn't see your medicine move an inch, and even if you used it, it wouldn't have refilled your health bar to full in just a second. I didn't see you use your Full Health Potions either, your selector stayed on the regular Health Potions, which you used several seconds later when he got you good again, and you lost 80-90% of your health bar. I know you used it because it blinks while in use, and it makes a particular sound, which I didn't hear when your health got magically back to full the first time around, without you selecting the Full Health Potions. So what happened there?
If you watch to the end I verify that it is indeed Ultra Hard. But even if you suspect video editing, it's trivial to verify for this game. H:ZD changes enemy defense with each difficulty setting, so if you enter this battle with my exact same basic bow here and start changing the difficulty setting, you'll see that Ultra Hard with No Upgrades is the only way to get Aloy down to doing 21 damage per hit on a Deathbringer weak point.
i was stuck here for hours. was nearly giving up on this mission. then i found this video. thanks a lot.
Then there's me lowering my difficulty to Story..........................
Honestly, i think the normal machines are harder to fight on UH than the death bringer or corrupter
Or even just normal human enemies, honestly.
@@abaddononion Yeah
2023 and I've just used this to give myself a bit of a boost on my first Ultra run of HZD. What a game.

also: Aloy is fuck-slow and the cam doesn't work for shit
That's some next level masochistic shit rite their

Can someone explain why is he on level 12?? When I haven't even do a 25% of the main campaign and I am already level 57 XD
It's amazing. Thanks 👍👍👍🙏
A NU run would be near impossible with Frozen Wilds though.

I swear mine doesnt have the minigun you use at 8:15. How did it get there?
That's the Deathbringer's own gun. I spend the first part of the fight shooting it off and it finally detached at 3:55.
Dearthbriger is from Day you was the Robot
Sorry but it’s hard to watch Aloy move around like that

This is a No-Upgrade run. I never purchase any abilities or upgrades throughout the entire game.
No sorry, my bad, you had your selector back and forth between the two types of health potions, which in this case is well played :)
Well done.
how the fuck did you one-shot that first dude?? Even with headshots they eat at least two arrows in my game (playing on hard)

No point playing this game on ultra hard its just torture hard is sufficient
I finally got my platinum trophy after playing ultra hard on new game and new game+, it took 47 days.
Try on new game plus, it's easier than new game, but damage received is still high enough to feel like a challenge

He used health potion
No way this is ultra hard, the ai is sloppy and much slower

I hate this games tedious trial and error gameplay, tedious controls and the fact that stealth doesn't work but other than that its alright.
Bei den ständigen Purzelbäumen wird mir beim zusehen schwindlig ...
It was helpfull
