@@steeez0 network and cable tv is not great either. Ever since things went digital you still deal with some of the same loading problems as people who watch only through WiFi. Yes it’s definitely not quite as often but it does happen enough to be noticeable. I miss tv with the bunny ears lol at least back then if you had some tin foil and patience you could macgyver that shit to work 😆

Plenty folks still got cable. And most of these streaming services are basically cable now a days anyway. They show the same stuff.

Anyway, the advantage of cable is that the channels are always on (good ambiance noise) unlike streaming in which you have to pick the channel to a silent menu.
But cable gets way too expensive after the first year. I let it go about a year and a half ago.
Hell I gotta bundle bill called Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime with HBO, BET, and starz connected subscription, Disney plus, and Vudu and we see free just released movies on a “special” website just saw Antebellum 😉. We good ova here!!

Haven’t had cable in almost 10 years lol. If you got WiFi, some some entertainment devices, you do not need cable. Specially when it’s almost a 100 dollars a month for thousands of channels, and you still only watch spend all ya time RUclips and an maybe watch 3 cable channels. Growing up I never had cable TV. When I moved out at 17 my own apartment and was working graveyard shift that day I called in sick to watch my cable lol not lying.
Old head mentality. A cable box in 2020 is so old school, but he's right tho. Streaming used to be really great back when it was new. but now every network wants to get their own streaming service. I've lost track of how many there are now. I don't give a shit about any of them. It would be nice if one company could get the rights to stream every network and you could watch whatever you wanted from any network and only have one bill. Wait... you mean like cable?? We've gone full circle at this point. I only pay for Netflix, Spotify (which gives me a free Hulu account too) and my uncle and I go 50/50 on RUclips TV so I can watch all the NFL games. I have fiber optic internet at my house, a strong router, and a constant 100 mpbs/sec download speed. Buffering aint a thing at my house.
