After working with Charlotte and the others for so long, I wasn't sure how the new group was going to fare against the old. I am happy to say that I instantly fell in love with Diana's voice. I listen to this song at least twice a day. I cannot wait for the rest of the album to drop.
Now, I am forever grateful for all the material recorded with Charlotte in charge of the vocals. BUT, I am digging THIS Delain much more. Completely mesmerized by Diana's voice.
This is crazy beautiful. Wow. Will be attending several USA west coast dates, love that Diana & Ronald will be doing an acoustic number for the VIP (hope to hit at least one). Now I'm convinced she should be performing this on-stage with the awesome Martijn!
I already thought that the magic of this song was also due to the video with the volcanoes. Now, when you hear this piano version, it's not like that. It's the voice that is magical 😀.

From what i heard Martijn sounds like the bad guy who breaking this band up but for me he's making a good decision and ready to make new vocalist reaches new height

He even offered them to take over. But that failed. Doesn't sound like the bad guy to me, and we are lucky for it. Now we will have a new great Delain album. I don't think I would have liked a new Delain album without main songwriters Martijn and Guus.
