I Love Aikido. I do need to know: Why have so many Uke/Nage interactions we have observed, in general, neglected pragmatic attention to Uke's free hand though. This is a rhetorical question.
Tori also has a free hand. What isn’t communicated in a video is that Uke feels this. They don’t use their free hand because they sense that Tori can Atemi also, making the situation martially equal, and therefore Uke is more cautious to throw away their second hand. This is a rhetorical answer. :D
You love akido, but unlock real martial arts like jiu jitsu, you are brainwashed into believing you can' 'move energy' in your opponent, and that your opponent always approaches you slowly, with an arm extended. This is the reason this is the 'martial arts' of liberals......you can believe you are prepared for a fight, when in fact you have no idea what you are getting into.
@@BrightonAikikai no sir I want to be false ...aikido seems so brutal locking and breaking joints...I want to be aikido very useful ..but it's not about me i am not aikido practicer I practice some self defence tools only ..
You've asked a very interesting question. The answer is a bit complicated though, because Aikido is designed to be more than just a system of self-defence techniques. Do you have a "self" worth defending? How about your family, friends, and neighbours? This is not for anyone to judge of course, but Aikido is a tool we can use for self-development as well as self-defence. Its purpose is to help people be in good relations with each other despite the capacity to be violent sometimes. In such a world there is no need for self-defence at all. :) Of course, this is a very ambitious goal! Perhaps it is impossible. It does not mean that Aikido techniques cannot be useful or "realistic", but this is not a problem of Aikido. It is a problem of the martial-artist. If you want to be an effective martial-artist it is best to practice as many martial-arts as possible to a good level. Aikido may be one of them, but we hope you get more spiritual depth out of it than just painful techniques!
@@BrightonAikikai sir Steven Seagal is also best practitioner ..I think it's depend of individual...cause people don't focus in conditioning...first of all we have to so fast and strong together.like Steven Seagal ..how he parry and kinfe hand to throat and neck .and backfist to face and kick to stomach shinn and groin ..then he use aikido flow... cause morio oshiba was legend ..he did it best and I have seen in a video aikdio in Japan the grandmaster break many MMA folk ......so I think aikido is very effective ..but we have to make our body fast and strong and learn to strike while parry the attacks then use aikido flow....am I going in the good point sir?
Just a tip. Anything Jap style that has a DO prefix is Art oriented. Any that has a Jutsu prefix is application oriented. I won’t your intelligence so I will leave the application definition to yourself. The only clear advantage Aikido and Judo have many systems is there excellent break fall system that teaches the student to engage threat’s safely. Furthermore do not mistake the Jutsu prefix to the Brazilian Jui Jutsu which has nothing to do any Jap martial system.

This is a rhetorical question.
Because aikido does not work.
@MGC: I Respectfully disagree.
